Mahmood Al-Tabib (also spelled Mahmoud Al-Tabeb) is a prominent Quran reciter from Libya. He is recognized as one of the distinguished reciters in Libya, a country known for its many memorizers of the Holy Quran. He primarily recites in the Hafs β€˜an Asim narration and has fully memorized the Holy Quran. He obtained certification in the ten readings and has mastered several recitation methods. His voice is described as beautiful and heartfelt, bringing a smile to those who listen to his Quranic readings. Mahmood Al-Tabib was born in Libya into a small, conservative family where he was the youngest of four brothers. After his initial Quranic memorization and studies, he taught the Holy Quran at the Al Anqoudi mosque in Tripoli, the Libyan capital. He later moved to the United Arab Emirates and settled in Sharjah, where he currently works as an Imam and preacher in the Malik Bin Aws Mosque. Information regarding any familial relationships to other reciters or scholars is not widely documented in publicly accessible sources.
