In Luke chapter 5 Jesus shows His friends a jaw‑dropping catch of fish, showing that sometimes the biggest wins come when you trust and try again even after failure. He then spends time with people everyone else avoided—like a tax collector—and explains that real renewal means letting go of old habits and embracing a fresh start.

Show Notes:

In Luke chapter 4, Jesus’ journey reminds us that life isn’t free from challenges—He faced hunger, temptation, and rejection, just like we do. Yet He leaned on Scripture for strength, stayed faithful, and kept moving forward in His calling. When people doubted Him in Nazareth, He didn’t stop—He continued healing, teaching, and bringing hope to others. His story shows us that even in the middle of resistance or struggle, God’s purpose for our lives can still shine through.

Gather your family together and spend a moment each day reading through the book of Luke.

The Gospel of Luke is central to the Christmas story because it gives us the most detailed account of Jesus’ birth. Luke emphasizes God’s love for all people, highlighting the humble circumstances of Christ’s arrival—born in a manger, announced first to shepherds. This reminds us that Christmas is about hope and salvation offered to everyone, regardless of status or background. Luke’s narrative calls us to celebrate not just the birth of a child, but the coming of the Savior who brings peace and joy to the world.

We hope you'll enjoy and find true meaning this Christmas season.
