The Bachchan Coolies (Alok Sharma, Diptakirti Chaudhuri and Shiva Krishnamurthy) are back to celebrate the film that proved to be a landmark film not just for Bachchan, Salim-Javed and Yash Chopra but Hindi cinema itself. We discussed how Deewaar is a goldmine of quotable as well as throwaway lines, how Bachchan sensed very early on during the making that this film could be his golden ticket, how the film has loomed large over many films and shows right upto Scam 1992 and Pushpa, where the film sits in top 5 Bachchan, and much more!
