It’s #348st for the 10st of September, 2026 or 3312! (33-Oh-twelven)
Wow - no change in the numbers. LSN Present in 459 star systems, controlling 141 star systems.
Last week we flagged a concern for Miola (home of Harris Hospital) but that system looks stable right now.
Short PP Report:
Cycle 589 / PP Cycle 98
Feet Pic and LYR clearly benefited from the relic rush. Each adding +91 and +65 systems respectively. Next closest system add total was Antel with +37.
the Rhino seems to be building a role as a must-have powerplay tool
There’s been a little drop in influence in Miola we’re watching
Rick FN Dalton announced the Chieftains of Anarchy are purged from his main system, it only took 2 weeks and 2 ticks in retreat.

Soontil Relics, is there anything they can’t do?
Duval won the week
54 exploited, 14 forts, 1 stronghold
Li was second
49 exploited, -3 forts (six strongholds means -6 forts so 3 new forts were created), 6 strongholds
Piscium Sector ZK-X B1-5 (Pavlov’s Hub, Alexandrinus’s neighbor) is now a LYR stronghold thanks to LSN and Sirius Gov. efforts. Of note, Architect Grommer got Universal Cartographics online there (finally). If you want to thank him, he needs CMM Composite delivered to Alexandria Terminal’s orbital construction site, about 40K Tonnes
Antal was third
15 exploited, 11 forts
Empire also had a good week
15 exploited, 5 forts and 1 stronghold
Mahon rounds out the top 5
Loose Screws Punching Bag Jerome Tiberious Archer was 10th
8 exploited and 2 forts
Fan favorite Archon (Not Archer) Delaine was in 11th

Cycle 92:
Perfunctory statement - We use the Kruger Five rankings for powerplay for two reasons
It realistically accounts for the weighted efforts to stronghold or fortify systems relative to acquiring systems, while the ‘official numbers’ don’t tell the whole story
We (are free of conflicts of interest and) fought a revolution 250 years ago so we don’t have to feel beholden to the FDev Party Line with their one size fits all ranking system
Third, K5 is one of us
Something something K5
Something something American Ranking System
Something something man on the moon
Antal wins the week with 4 new systems and 2 strongholds
Archon Delaine in second with 5 new bones and a crown
Kaine continues to be busy in 3rd with 6 new systems and 2 new forts
Our frat bro, LYR in 4th with 3 new forts
Winters rounds out the top 5 with 5 new systems and a fort.
Archer in last this week, continuing the decline and fall that started in week 77, finishing last losing 4 systems and 3 strongholds gaining 3 forts.
[K5 extra points, if you’d like a few more talking points]:
All 4 of the imperial powers are in the bottom half of the pack with limited progress.
Really a subdued week overall for all power. Colonia CG and operations looks like it took the attention of many commanders

10 juil. 2026
02:05:06
It’s #340st for 9 July, 2026 or 3312! (33-Oh-twelven)
I think a lack of in-game powerplay stat updates from operations instability caused some chaos for powers this week. One of the least productive weeks for nearly all the powers in a while.
Princess Aisling didn't seem too phased though, putting up the best week with 13 new systems including a new stronghold.
Kaine continues her streak with 8 new systems
Both Feds continue to face opposition with no new systems for Archer and losing a fortified, and Winters losing a system and a stronghold
All Imperials besides Aisling also having rough weeks with Patreus joining the Feds with a negative week and Torval showing next to zero improvement.
The Operations Update 3 is now live. This update addresses a number of issues, including Operations rewards and lost exploration data.
Please note that Missing Operations Rewards and on-Foot inventories will be returned at a later time.
Quality of Life:
Players unsold exploration data from before the 2nd July Maintenance has now been restored and can be sold as normal.
Players can now restore their visited star data cache file via the "Resync Local Data" button located within the Help and Info submenu from the Main Menu.
Operations Rewards (Merc Coins, Credits, Materials and Inventory) will be retroactively granted to players at a later date for previously completed Operations which didn't grant rewards as expected
Players whose on-foot inventories may have wiped after completing an operation before 2330 UTC Wednesday 2nd will have their inventories restored.

Cycle 86:
Kaine (#1) and Grom (#2) top the charts this week.
Kaine had the edge with the addition of 2 new strongholds and 5 new fortifieds
Grom with an impressive looking 12 new systems, 1 new stronghold, and 4 new fortifieds
Aisling, Mahon, and Grom all added 12 new systems
Aisling the first power to make the 2000+ exploited systems club
Losers for this cycle were Torval, Winters, and Archer. All losing fortifieds with Torval not gaining any new systems, Archer and Winters both losing systems
Looks like Winters is joining Archer as an undermining target, have the imperials expanded their attacks against the federation?
LSN presence grew from 431 to 433 Systems, Controlling grew by one to133

Short PP Report:
Cycle 84:
What a week of fortification and acquisition! You would think there was a relics rush
Mahon is hot! #1 for the cycle with 18 news systems but gaining 5 new strongholds and 2 new fortifieds!
LYR posted the most new systems this week with 20
Grom and Antal right there with solid weeks as well
The dark horse of the week is Delaine. Hidden down in the numbers with only 3 new systems overall, but adds 4 new strongholds and 2 new fortifieds. Strong fortification showing
Looks like we are getting some Alpha Centauri fallout:
Aisling over extends and gains NO systems. Someone is spending too much time in one place and others are taking advantage
Archer with the worst week. Gaining only 2 systems but losing 2 fortifieds

Cycle 83
(The Bloomentary in the event Kruger is too busy to editorialize)
Another big week for Antal with 6 Exploited, 1 Fortified and 3 Strongolds
Duval 2nd with 9 Exploited, including Alpha Centauri, 0 Forts and 2 Strongholds

Psi Kappa Omega brother Li Yong Rui is 4th with 2 exploited and 4 fortified
Mahon rounding out the top 5 with 5 exploited and 3 fortified
Rough week for the Emperor losing 8 exploited, 2 fortified but creating 2 strongholds
Rougher week for Archer the only net negative by Kruger Reckoning this week with -7 exploited, -2 fortified for -0.178 points. The only power with a negative trajectory of late.
Commander Picard Tweeted (X’d?) that he’s continuing his 5 year mission into it’s 11th year. 4,015 days in the black. He’s mapping out the ‘southern’ reaches of our galaxy. I will be FOMOing for you, buddy!

Short PP Report:
Cycle 82
(Bloomentary in the event Kruger is too busy to editorialize)
Antal had the biggest week - 0.354 for the cycle with 6 exploited, and 6 fortified
LYR was second by Kruger Reckoning with 0.287, claiming 5 exploited and two strongholds
Kaine came in third with 14 exploited and 2 fortified. Sirius Gov analyzed their growth plan of late and likened it to a n00b playing Risk, spreading themselves too thin in the early rounds.
Grom and Mahon round out the top 5 this week
Two powers lost ground.
Torval lost one fortified system for a score of -0.047
Archer lost 4 exploited systems for a score of -0.048
Of note, with the liberation of Alpha Centauri this week, there’s a 6 way race for control between Duval, Archer, Mahon, Yong-Rui, Grom and Torval.

Cycle 78:
Big winner for this cycle is Emperor Arissa. Not a lot of new systems, but 3 new strongholds and 2 new fortifieds gave her a great week.
Antal in second, but really close behind are Kaine, Winters, and Princess Aisling
Kaine and Winters tied for the best cycle on the FDev charts. 9 new systems for both, AND both with 1 new stronghold and 2 new fortifieds.
Archer went negative for the cycle losing 2 fortifieds.
Torval and Patreus both -1 for total systems this week.
After 24 cycles since the end of 1 ton trading, the biggest loser (or the biggest cheat depending on how you look at it) is Zemina Torval. During the era of 1 ton trading, Zemina made solid, steady, progress in the number of systems. However, when 1 ton was fixed (in cycle 54), while most other powers adapted and recovered, Zemina has only managed to add 12 new system since then.

Yong-Rui tops both the charts this cycle with 9 new systems including a new stronghold and 3 fortifieds.
Winters has a solid 2nd place adding 2 new strongholds.
Looks like Archer is back with another solid cycle adding 9 new systems
Tough week for the imperials!! that don't have blue hair.
At the bottom, Emperor Arissa loses 6 systems this week
Princess Aisling loses 2 strongholds
Patreus AND Torval both with 0 gain
I often ignore the midpack for brevity, but the tightest race right now is between Antal, Archer, and Kaine. All within one KrugerFive point of each other.
Interestingly, Antal who generally doesn't appear to get much undermining may have gotten some attention the past few weeks, losing a fortified this week.

If you spent more time watching Elite Dangerous than flying it, you're probably here. Every commander starts out as an observer. At this stage, you're not really playing the game yet.
Chapter 3: Level 2
At the button master stage, you're finally flying, but you're mostly reacting.
Chapter 4: Level 3
If your entire sense of progress is tied to your credit balance, this stage might feel familiar. Eventually, every commander discovers efficiency, credits, ship progression, grinding. This is where players start focusing on optimization, mining runs, mission stacking, trade loops.
Chapter 5: Level 4
If you rebuild the same ship three times in a week because you learned one new thing, you've reached level four, the builder stage. This is where Elite finally starts making sense. Instead of chasing ships, players start designing them. You begin thinking about purpose.
Chapter 6: Level 5
If you can explain exactly why you want to fight, not just that you did, you're probably here. By the time players reach the specialist stage, they found something they're really good at. Maybe it's combat, maybe it's exploration, or perhaps it's deep space travel.
Chapter 7: Level 6
If you disengage from a bad fight early with zero ego, that's usually the sign of a veteran. Veteran players stop chasing after mastery. Not because they can improve, but because they've already learned what matters. They flown most ships in game. They've tried most activities. They understand the risk.
Chapter 8: Level 7
If you log in with no destination and still have a great session, welcome to the final stage, my friend. The final level of an elite pilot is hard to define. Some become mentors, helping newer pilots, teaching mechanics, sharing knowledge they wish they had earlier. Others become drifters, pilots who log in simply to exist in the galaxy. They fly without a strict goal, exploring systems, running odd missions,

Update 2-19 from KrugerFive on the LS Discord - Powerplay Cycle 68:
Cycle 68:
Archer continues his expansion with back to back best weeks. Adding 11 new systems this cycle.
A bad week for the imperials, with Torval going negative, 0 new additions for Emperor Arissa, and Patreus only 1 new system.
Pretty subdued cycle overall, maybe still a hangover from the relics and enclave activity?
Kaine is making a good run at taking P7 from Antal in the KrugerFive rankings. At the current pace Kaine may overtake in 2 cycles
In the FDev leaderboard the real race right now is between Kaine and Archer for 6th place. Kaine took it 5 weeks back, but Archer is steadily coming back

Kaine and Winters followed with 7 new systems.
Aisling suffering the most. Only 1 new system but losing a stronghold and a fortified.
Antal and Patreus also hit this week with Antal losing 4 systems and Patreus 3.

Relics are back and the powers have taken advantage! Currently at 400t but expected to hit 600t this week
It has been 14 weeks since the last relics boom, and 12 weeks to the one before that
Yong-Rui with the best week. Not as many systems as Aisling (+33 vs +38), but picked up an additional stronghold for the edge
Aisling picked up the most systems this week (+38), but suffered a stronghold loss. In fact 2 strongholds were undermined, but Aisling added another elsewhere to make up for one
Kaine continues to pull away and hold the FDev rankings 6th place from Archer
“My energy levels have been through the roof, and after putting in so much effort I feel like I can achieve anything! I want to hike across the rainforests of Planet Lave in support of ongoing conservation efforts there.”
Genetic Study of Radicoida Unica Released
“October Consortium researchers highlight observations that the plant may form symbiotic relationships with biological creatures with prolonged exposure. It seems aware of activity around it…”
“it contains a compound which improves physical performance and reduces thinking time in laboratory mice…”
Discussion :
What do we think “reduces thinking time in laboratory mice” really means?
Could “rainforests” and other Earthlike features be featured in an Operations scenario (bypassing the need to unlock earthlike worlds en masse to provide a taste of this experience)?

PP Stuff: updated 12/11, unashamedly copied from KrugerFive on the LS discord
Kaine on top with the strongest week, gaining 3 new strongholds and 8 systems overall
Yong-Rui and Archer both with the most new systems this week with +9
Impressive for LYR given the massive fight to hang on in the enclave. Hanging on to their 1 enclave system with well over 3 million points of undermining
Arissa and Aisling may be overly distracted in the enclave. Both losing systems this cycle.
This is back to back losses for Princess Aisling!
Dev News (12/11):
Festive Drops - Snowfall Icicle - Snowflakes on a me-teal-ic background
Festive Giveaways - 5 next week and 1 on the 22nd - Looks like each new ship will get a free skin in addition to weapons and the SRVs.
356 starsystems, controlling 101 systemsSeveral wars and elections in the present time
New Screwspace is growing with Lark’s system online and Ranglon joining the fray.

Cycle 58: https://k5elite.com/ With the HIP 87621 enclave battle and CG in full swing, those benefiting and gaining the most throughout the galaxy this cycle are:
Grom
ALD
Kaine
Mahon, Torval, Aisling, and Patreus all went negative for the week. Delaine takes back P10 from Zemina Torval on the Nicey/KrugerFive boards! On the FDev leaderboard, Grom and Kaine both added +11 new systems for the top spot, with Grom taking the edge with +1 stronghold Emperor Arissa adds the most strongholds this cycle with +2 Lots of data being track in the battle for HIP 87621 by others. A couple places keeping some cool data around the enclave to look for if you haven't seen it yet:
Ian Doncaster has probably the best data keeping track of the undermining and reinforcement details at:
https://heatmap.sotl.org.uk/powers/hip Really interesting to see who is getting hit the hardest and where. Really shows how hard LYR and Aisling have been getting hit. It will be interesting to watch it all as LYR is on the ropes, Archer getting knocked out, and the other powers starting to grow a foothold.
Also keep a lookout for CMDR Gen. Zoff's daily posts of HIP 87621 status over at the Buur Pit powerplay discord channel. They have been posting a regular table of each systems state and status that is also interesting to watch.
Dev News (12/11):
Caspian Update 1
Added a cap for engineering resistances to avoid values above 75% being achieved.
Station weapons now deal plasma damage, improving effectiveness against target resistances.
Enabled "Mk II Ablative Mirrored Surface Composite" armour at markets for the Caspian Explorer.
Metallic paints are in the store for the Caspian, T11, Panther Clipper II
Golden, Gold, Chromed, Chrome
(The Panther Clipper II ones also paint over the black cargo section)
Festive Drops - Snowfall Icicle - Snowflakes on a me-teal-ic background
Festive Giveaways - skins for all sorts of things, 3 last week, 3 this week, 5 next week and 1 on the 22nd
Conflict continues across the 49-system enclave surrounding HIP 87621, with military forces from all major powers showing no signs of a ceasefire after two weeks of heavy fighting.
Ernesto Rios, a freelance war correspondent for Vox Galactica, reported:
“Although the Empire appears to be the dominant force across the enclave after this initial campaign, it's becoming clear that this conflict concerns far more than territorial influence. Radicoida unica has been confirmed by Vista Genomics as a wholly unique species, with early genetic indicators suggesting potential advancements once fully understood.”
“Given the scale of the mobilisation across the enclave, it is possible that certain details of its properties are known only to a select few within senior leadership circles.”

The Pax Screwiana continues, a few wars and elections but good neighbors make good fences
349 systems, controlling 99!
New Screwspace has a dozen and a half systems! Volt, Ranglon, Ty, Lark, me and Ciaran are working the space. If you’re interested in colonizing, it’s a good location.
PowerPlay Update: - unashamedly copied from KrugerFive’s post in our Discord, 12/4
Kaine with the largest gains this week with +3 strongholds and +10 new systems
Aisling after big losses last week regains most of the loss with +14 new systems, +3 forts, and +1 stronghold
Aisling looks recovered and adapting from the 1 ton changes
Li Yong-Rui also starting to make a comeback tying Antal for 3rd for the week
On the FDev leaderboard for number of systems:
Aisling is back with the most systems gained with her +14
Kaine in second with +10
Torval losing -14 systems. Now losing ground to Archon Delaine
Now that we have 3 cycles of post 1 ton trading and re-introduction of power data download, we have a good view of who was affected most by the changes. The ASCII table (sorry if you are on your phone) shows the average each power was seeing from cycles 41-52 (non Relic rush cycles) vs cycle 55 and after (after 1t):
You can see LYR took a massive fall, along with Aisling and Torval. Basically no effect on Delaine, which seems obvious in retrospect. The real winners at have been Grom, Antal, Kaine, and Winters who dropped some, but kept most of their mid-range output to be productive in these first 3 cycles. With some trading for powerplay back in the picture it, Aisling/LYR adapting, and now a powerplay CG and war for the enclave bubble, things are interesting again.
Come join us colonizing, BGS works out here.Ish. So does the colonizing.Ish.
PowerPlay Update: - (unashamedly copied from KrugerFive’s post in our Discord, 11/13)
Cycle 54:
Soontil relics hit 600t supply this cycle and the powers jumped on to boom for huge gains. Last relics rush was 14 cycles ago.
The power of princess Aisling showed with the relics rush. +138 new systems, +8 new fortifieds.
The other powers to maximize this were Yong-Rui (+73 systems), Antal (+70), and Mahon (+60)
Delaine putting up a fight and keeping Torval behind for now (-3 systems difference)
This relic boom creates a nice battle in the FDev board between Archer, Antal, and Kaine for Archer's P6.
Archer 1131 systems
Kaine 1100 systems
Antal 1089 systems
1t trading is gone, trade is next to useless for control points, and relics are back down (but still at a healthy 120t). Next week is going to be interesting.

HIP 87621 Permit issued
CG - HIP 87621 Exobiology Initiative begins
Pilots can support this initiative by first signing up at Exogene Sciences in the HIP 87621 system, before gathering samples of the newly discovered flora at biological sites located on several bodies of the HIP 87621 system. These samples must then be sold to Vista Genomics at Exogene Sciences, via the representative located in the station concourse.
Pilots who register at least 1 sample will receive the following rewards:
- Artemis Photon Blue Suit Pack
- Credits, depending on success tier achieved and individual contribution level.
Pilots in the top 75% and above of contributions will receive a grade 5 Artemis suit, with Improved Battery Capacity, Night Vision, Increased Sprint Duration and Improved Jump Assist modifications.
Careful, it’s hot out there
Colonization main starport effects nerfed, then retracted, a bit.
Lots of people apparently (cynically) think it’s so FDev can sell more Dodec’s…?
Come join us colonizing, BGS works out here.Ish. So does the colonizing
PowerPlay Update: - (unashamedly copied from KrugerFive’s post in our Discord, 10/30)
Cycle 52: Here's to one year of powerplay 2.0 complete! Cheers!
Princess Aisling with 3 strongholds lost! First week she's went negative since at least cycle 22
Li Yong-Rui wins across all the boards this week with +39 new systems, including 6 new fortifieds, and 1 stronghold.
Possible the most gained in pp2.0
Kaine upgrades 5 systems to strongholds with the most this week, and +20 systems overall
Delaine hit with a loss of -4 system
Torval passes Delaine for P10 in the Nicey/KrugerFive boards
She is in sight of Delaine for P10 in the FDev boards as well, possibly passing in a 2-3 weeks
All the powers are starting to show pretty steady trends and the FDev leaderboard is getting pretty close to being sorted. The Nicey/KrugerFive oneThen after that may be a really long wait. 14 and 24 cycles are a pretty ls are pretty much sorted out now. If everyone keeps playing the same for the FDev leaderboard my passing predictions are:
Torval passes Delaine in 3 cycles
Emperor Arissa passes Mahon in 14 cycles
Kaine passes Archer in 24 cycles
ong time as it is. I hope this stuff around HIP 87621 shakes up powerplay some. (edited)
“Independent observers believe that the concentration of megaship traffic and the secrecy surrounding the order, together with the reported direct messages to pilots pledged to one of the twelve Powers, are strong indicators of an intention to rapidly construct a science and security enclave around HIP 87621.”

BGS - Alec and our friends from Lave were reading the update notes for T-11 Patch 2 from last week.
Reviewing the issue tracker ID’s in the patch notes - BGS getting stuck is what FDev thinks is fixed and it looks fixed.
What wasn’t fixed per the patch notes - Mission influence going to the right place still doesn’t seem to be fixed.
So now it’s half broke
Our friends were discussing when BGS Broke, was it PP 2.0, was it Trailblazers, when did it break? (Cockney Accent) - Blimey - It all began with PP 2.0, bloke! Fifteen Quid For a Broken Game?!?!?!
Colonization Update - The Loose Screws control IC 22602 Sector ZU-Y d103!Arai’s Inheritance. It is the official platinum mining hole of the Loose Screws Network. Thank you to Volt, Edward Skeele, Uraniborg, Borked
PowerPlay Update: - (unashamedly copied from KrugerFive’s post in our Discord, 10/23)
Cycle 51: Can you believe we are entering into 1 year of powerplay 2.0 this week?
Winters with a strong week adding the most systems at +18 (all exploited)
Yong-Rui again with the overall strongest week with +5 more strongholds and +8 fortifieds
Independent observers have reported unusual activity in systems surrounding HIP 87621, intensifying rumours of covert operations in the region.
Multiple reports indicate that megaships have been spotted operating near the permit-locked system over the past week. Though no Power has formally acknowledged involvement, analysts believe this early mobilisation suggests a push for influence around HIP 87621.
CG NOTE “Merit-palooza”:
The large merit awards for mining within the CG system are no longer available, due to revoking the ‘God-Handed’ powerplay state. The only power within 20-30ly is Grom (as it always was), so the ‘normal’ mechanic for getting mining merits there doesn’t work now.
BGS is apparently fixed - We had a bunch of conflicts going back to 8/31 that have since begun and completed
Only time and testing will tell what is and isn’t fixed.
13 systems over 75% influence - so even if things are fixed…
Wars in Synuefe and Col 285 sectors along with Yen Ti
Victory in Musca Dark Region UE-W a3-0 - thank you Uraniborg and Edward Skeele

Cycle 50: I will interpret CMDR KurgerFive’s analysis so you won’t have to.
Kaine wrestled seventh place away from Antal on the FDev board,
For the fifth week in a row our frat boy Rui, has delivered the strongest performance which even out distanced the fancy footwork of Princess Podiatry.
At this pace Yong-Rui will move to second on Nicey/KrugerFive charts. And what of the FDev charts? Well this reporter believes FDev treats Rui like an SEC referee treats Auburn football.
Down in tenth place it looks like Torval is about to win the Torval Delaine staring contest.
And at the bottom of the pile, the only growth Emperor Arissa has seen is that mole on her face while Patreus dropped another three exploited systems.
Strategic Order Placed with Brewer Corporation - CG with stickers for all, and 1 size 5 non-Euclidican cargo rack for the 75%ers.
Dev News:
Type 11 Prospecter Update 2
Introduced new functionality to prevent 'claim sniping'. When the primary port is completed in a newly colonised system, an exclusive lock on making claims FROM that system's colonisation contact will be enforced for a short period
The System Architect may exclusively make claims from the system for 30 minutes
After this 30 minutes expires, anyone within the System Architect's Squadron may make a claim for the next 23.5 hours
This will function even if the System Architect is in their own solo Squadron
After a total of 24 hours, the exclusive claim rights lift and any player may make a claim from the newly constructed system
Note that if the System Architect is not in a squadron, then only the 30 minute lockout applies.
The claim panel via the colonisation contact has been updated to display when a lockout is in effect, and details the remaining duration
COMPANION API
Facility construction effort requirements info has been included in the /market endpoint
BUG FIXES
Fixed the main cause of the faction simulation (BGS) becoming stuck in some situations. This should resolve most instances of conflicts/expansion/influence etc. not functioning as intended.
Fixed instances of a physics issue that could cause ships to explode
Fixed multiple issues with transferring cargo from your ship to fleet carrier inventory
Fixed instances when transferring cargo to fleet carrier inventory, the transfer can sometimes silently fail with items "lost" on both the carrier and ship until a relog (Issue ID: 78801)
Fixed instances of transferring all cargo at once from ship to fleet carrier inventory to fail

Yong-Rui may overtake Emperor Arissa for P2 in the next couple cycles in the Nicey / KrugerFive boards
Kaine and Antal still battling for FDev's P7
Looking at the "points per cycle" chart at www.k5elite.com We may be heading to some stagnation in the leaderboards soon if something doesn't change.
In the Nicey & KrugerFive boards: once LYR takes P2 and Torval takes P10 from Delaine, if trends continue, it could be a long time before there are any other changes
In the FDev board:Emperor Arissa will pass Mahon for P2 at some point (months out?) and Kaine takes P7, same will occur

Type 11 NEW INFOIt's also impossible to miss the brand new precision mining tool, the Mining Volley Repeater! This new tool fires specially designed projectiles to maximise the amount of fragments extracted from an asteroid, granting a higher yield than other mining tools when laser mining. When laser mining it also has a chance to produce a higher density fragment similar to those found via abrasion point mining. The Type-11 has also been designed to handle the thermal load output of the new mining tool. As such, this large mining tool is currently only able to be equipped on the Type-11 Prospector.
