Happy New Year’s Eve! We made it to the end of 2025. Job well done everyone! Today’s episode is a new What Went Down one where I let you know my final thoughts on the thriller, Nine Puzzles!

It was highly recommended to me, so I had to forego my aversion to the dark and creepy Kdramas to check it out! And there’s—THE Son Suk Ku, so I made the exception!

Spoilers are ahead in the episode, so check out the episode if you’ve watched the drama already or if you’ve had the reveal spoiled for you! Or if you have no plans of ever watching it, I highly recommend listening to this one! Today's episode I'm throwing it back to a Baeksang Awards nominated Kdrama: School 2013 from 2013, of course! This drama isn't your fun high school Kdrama, it's one of those realistic ones, and yet, it's still one of my favorites. I had such a meaningful and moving experience rewatching this drama after 11 years and was almost a little surprised at how this drama means much more to me now than it did the first time I watched it. My time discussing this drama in this episode is the biggest testament to why I'm even doing this season of Throwing it Back!

It was a longer commitment to throw it back to this 28-episode drama, but it's a family drama classic with all the theatrics and heart in the world! It was a hit during its time, so I wanted to revisit it to see if I think it deserved all that fame and glory! Today’s episode is my final episode of 2023 and season 3 of Lola Pops Off about Kdramas Podcast! To be honest, I had a little bit of difficulty finishing up this episode and even considered not sharing it in light of recent news. But I decided that I still wanted to share my year of Kdramas with you. This is also the third year of me hosting my very own Kdrama Awards and I wanted to stay true to this tradition of the podcast. Not to mention, this episode is like another love song to the year of Kdramas and my time with you—so thank you all, yet again, for an amazing year with all the Kdramas we watched and popped off about together. I hope your year in Kdramas was a wonderful one and that you’re already looking forward to a new year in Kdramaland. As always, please join me in this episode to learn about some of the highlights and disappointments of the year in Kdramas for me and make sure to watch along as you listen as this episode has a video companion over on Spotify. I was finally able to sit down and go through my thoughts on Moving, a drama I tried to dub top drama of the year for me after only 4 episodes in a Ramblings & Musings episode. I've finally caught up with Destined with You, so I have some thoughts about this drama albeit a little late! I also thought it would be a fine idea to throw in some midpoint thoughts on A Time Called You as I have yet to finish it, but before I do...I need to share my piece about how I'm feeling with this complicated time-slip tale.
