The Cleveland Browns have a tough week one match up with the Dallas Cowboys but one strory line that will need the most attention will be line play.

Both teams field a sick amount of pass rushers, and Dallas will be starting a rookie at left tackle while the Browns tackles are returning from knee surgeries.

Neither team is leaning on their run games but which ever team runs the ball better should hold the bigger chance at sustaining a win.

Ceedee Lamb is an absolute monster but if any team has the cornerback ability to contain him it should be Cleveland.

The Cleveland Browns may be sitting all their starters against the Vikings Saturday, but the reserves need to play better than they did versus Green Bay.

The offensive line strangled the offense in the first preseason game, not blocking well against the run or pass rush. This needs to improve so Dorian Thompson-Robinson can get in they work they need.

The defense needs to do a much better job against the run, they were on the field to long last week and eventually tired. The young cornerbacks should continue with their strong play thus far.

The Cleveland Browns have hired Andy Dickerson to be their new offensive line coach. Dickerson comes from Seattle to the land to replace Bill Callahan. The shoes to fill are big but Dickerson did a solid job in his time with the Seahawks.

Pete Smith joins to chat on all the new coaching hires as their has been an obvious sign that the Browns are looking to improve their offense. Yes, the offense was good but still needs improvement for the Browns to get to where they ultimately want to go.

There will be a lot of personal changes along the offense this offseason with wide receiver and offensive line being part of the plan. The Cleveland brass would like to see the offense jump in '24 the way the defense did in 2023.

The Cleveland Browns offensive line suffered through a lot of injuries in 2023 and after essentially four seasons together it's fair to question if this group is capable of returning to it's top level self in year five.

Bill Callahan has left to join his son in Nashville and many question if this group is ready for a new leader. Well, Callahan's protege Scott Peters has been here for four seasons and if he ends up being the guy it's the right time for new blood.

The Browns have six starting offensive lineman currently and with one trade and the draft could have this line ready for the 2024 season and well beyond that.

The Cleveland Browns had new offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey meet the press. Dorsey spoke on the depth of his interview in Berea and how he's excited to get work with Deshaun Watson and help him return to elite level.

Mock Draft Monday as Jeff Lloyd tries to plug some of the Browns roster needs with players. Mike Hall Jr would be a slam dunk fit for Jim Schwartz's defense.

The Cleveland Browns after a thorough search have agreed to terms with Ken Dorsey to be their new offensive coordinator. Dorsey after years with the Carolina Panthers was most recently the Buffalo Bills OC but was let go after a slow start in the '23 season. The slow start apparently wasn't because of Dorsey's doing.

In 2022 the then Bills offense was firing on all cylinders with the passing game and the running game. The Bills top two receivers combined for 2.300 yards and featured solid production from the tight end and running backs in the passing game. They ran the ball at a very high yards per carry.

Dorsey's time was cut short in '23 but apparently that was because of a bad call from those that Dorsey had to answer to.

The Cleveland Browns made Jerry Jeudy their biggest addition this off-season after trying to acquire him two other times, now Jeudy is showing exactly why he was wanted.

Jeudy had several highlights in the joint practice with the Minnesota Vikings, twisting a db in a one on one, also had a great reception in the back off the end zone in a red zone drill. Jeudy is set to have career highs all across the board.

The practices went about the same, the Browns defense dominated again and the offensive line continues to struggle. With Denzel Ward and Greg Newsome out, MJ Emerson, Myles Harden, and Khalief Haliesse have all benn getting strong, positive reps.

Brady Breeze has had a strong camp and with D'Anthony Bell out could be in jeopardy of losing his spot to the newcomer.

The Cleveland Browns have hired Duce Staley to be their new running backs coach. Staley, who will turn 49 in February has coached running backs in Philadelphia, Detroit, ans Carolina. He was also at one point assistant head coach for all three franchises.

The talks surrounding the Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator search seem to be connecting dots, which just seems wrong. The offense needs to find another level, so the search should be for someone outside of Kevin Stefanski's coaching family tree.

Greg Newsome, could once again have his name in the trade market, but this team it would be about his positive play and whether or not the Browns could retain him long term.

With the Cleveland Browns coaching changes on the offensive side ball on Wednesday it shows a very similar plan to what they did on the defensive side in the 2023 off-season.

With bringing in a new offensive coordinator means the Browns will give the offense the spending spree they did with the defense last year.

A wide receiver like Tyler Boyd, Tee Higgins, Michael Pittman Jr, or Calvin Ridley will certainly be guys the Browns will be willing to pay.

Tony Pollard would be a running back that would fit perfectly in Cleveland's backfield.

Trade Jedrick Wills and put Dawand Jones at left tackle, the team just saw this past season that having high paid tackles doesn't have to be the recipe.

The Cleveland Browns have let go off running backs coach Stump Mitchell and tight ends coach T.C. McCartney. It is also believed that offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt is out as well.

These moves shouldn't come as shocks the Browns offense overachieved in many ways in 2023. The offense still had issues it's had during all four years of the Kevin Stefanski regime.

If these coaches had been performing well the Cleveland brass wouldn't be moving on from them they would be watching other franchises promote them.

The Cleveland Browns miraculous 2023 season came to a crashing halt in Houston as the Texans outplayed them in every way.

The offense played ok in the first half, but down 10 in the third quarter a in-excusable throw from Joe Flacco gets picked and taken 82 yards for a touchdown. His next throw had the Texans once again celebrating in the end zone.

The defense had their worst collective day. Jim Schwartz's game plan was offset by Houston committing to get the ball out of C.J. Stroud's hand early eliminating the Browns best defensive attribute, pass rush.The secondary also had major issues. Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah was a stand out yesterday, albeit for not.

The practices are over for the Cleveland Browns and it's now travel time to Houston ro start what is hopefully a long playoff run.

The offense can certainly improve over their last meeting with the Texans as the running game was a non factor. David Bell could be a sneaky guy to watch as he's coming off of his most successful game as a pro.

Defensively the Browns will have their pass rushers all going and Alex Wright has certainly been a guy who's putting all together as of late. Grant Delpit back would of been nice but this secondary has played like rock stars all season long.

The Cleveland Browns and linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah have their contract extension in place, three years 39.9 million with 25 of that guaranteed.

JOK entering his fourth year put it all together in year three and getting a franchise that never spent big on a linebacker to adjust their stance due to his quality of play.

Mike Hall was in the building and did practice today, leaving early with an undisclosed injury. Hall is facing legal charges stemming from an incident Monday night in Avon, Ohio.

The offense still struggled with their offensive line play but when they gave Deshaun Watson time he was able to complete several passes to his top targets.

The defense gave Minnesota's offense fits, Sam darnold was in a blender and if it wasn't would be sacks he was throwing interceptions. Vikings announced earlier that J.J. Mcarthy's season is over after knee surgery.

Ogbo Okoronkwo and Elijah Moore could be surprise participants in this game. Sadly, veteran linebacker Anthony Walker was placed on injured reserve.

The Cleveland Browns returned to business and made a surprise announcement, Jeff Driskell will be their starting quarterback Sunday in Cincinnati against the Bengals, are the Browns saving P.J. Walker's health or is there a chance Driskell is the back-up come playoff time.

Coach Kevin Stefanski made it known the Browns will be sitting some players Sunday but did not elaborate as to who.

Also at practice today was edge rusher Ogbo Okoronkwo, and Elijah Moore. Hopefully clearing a patch for both players to be a full go for the playoffs.

The Cleveland Browns stayed on course on what has been a season of constant change clinching their playoff birth with a 37-20 victory over the New York Jets on Thursday Night Football.

Joe Flacco and David Njoku were cooking early setting up two early touchdown drives in the first quarter. Njoku was over 100 yards receiving on the day in what has been a breakout year for the Chief.

Jerome contributed 121 total yards with two touchdowns the second of which was the games big highlight as he ran wild through the Jets secondary for a 50 yard touchdown.

The defense bent but didn't break and after Ronnie Hickman's interception return for a touchdown the Browns pretty much ran away and hid.

The Cleveland Browns are headed to the 2023 AFC Playoffs!

The Cleveland Browns host the New York Jets on Thursday Night Football, here is your pregame show as Cleveland looks to punch their playoff ticket for the second time in four years under head coach Kevin Stefanski.

The Browns offense will face a defensive line that is certainly capable of causing problems, Joe Flacco needs to be quick with getting the ball out and we could see some more underneath routes in this game so as to keep the heat off of Joe.

The New York Jets have a legitimate defense that more folks would give credit to if the team as a whole was playing better.

The Cleveland Browns were in a tough spot with the loss of Luke Wypler, they needed a back-up center and reached out to old friend Nick Harris who they traded for from Seattle.

The Cleveland Browns take down the Houston Texans 36-22 on Christmas Eve to get their 10th win of the season and remain in the top spot in the AFC wildcard race.

Joe Flacco and Amari Cooper went vertical on the first play of the game and showed Houston that was going to be the case all day as Cooper set a franchise record for receiving yards in one game.

Defensively the Browns continued to have players step up in the absence of others. Z'Darius Smith had two sacks, Alex Wright had a sack for a second straight game. Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah and Duron Harmon had interceptions as the defense continues to shine under new defensive boss Jim Schwartz.
