The Toronto Blue Jays have won back-to-back games for the first time this season, taking the second game of the series against the Seattle Mariners 5-3. This offense has been very underwhelming to start the season, hitting under 200 as a team through the first 10 games. The Toronto Blue Jays are not going to win many games scoring two runs over three games, while getting 1-hit and no-hit in two out of three of those games. This offense needs to switch something up. The Toronto Blue Jays get no-hit by Ronel Blanco and the Houston Astros. After the Yankees beat up the Astros in the last 4 games, this is a tough pill to swallow for the Toronto Blue Jays. Bowden Francis got lit up by a pissed-off Astros lineup, going just over 5 innings and giving up 7 runs. The Blue Jays do the most Toronto Blue Jays thing ever and become the first team of 2024 to be no-hit. And now for the offensive highlights: George Springer walked twice. That is all. We did get to see IKF on the mound, where he gave Kevin Gausman a run for his money trying to secure the role as the Blue Jays ace. This rough offensive start to the season has Blue Jays fans worried that this might be a replica of our 2023 offensive season. The Toronto Blue Jays will look for revenge in tomorrow's game, with Jose Berrios on the bump facing off against Framber Valdez, another tough pitching matchup for this lineup.
