Lockdown Trivia Trailer17 Feb 202500:01:11

Welcome to Lockdown Trivia, the "unlock your brain" podcast quiz show. My name is Dalton McGhiey and I'll be your host as we choose four of your own expert categories and explore them together as we try to unlock the trivia game one key at a time. Build streaks of correct answers to get the keys you need to open harder and harder questions. You can play solo, with a friend cooperatively, or against a friend competitively; there's something for every kind of player on Lockdown Trivia.

At the end of each episode, I will discuss the writing and research that went into each episode to figure out best practices and workshop how best to write trivia both in the podcast environment and in the pub trivia environment.

New episodes will come out every Wednesday morning to help you get through the middle of your week. You can sign-up to play Lockdown Trivia with the link in the description of each episode. I can't wait to have you on the show and I can't wait for you to listen to the show as we work together to try to "unlock your brain" one key at a time. What are you waiting for? Come sign up and let's play some trivia!

Players see a board in front of them with four categories and five questions of increasing difficulty in each category. The first question in each category is unlocked, but the subsequent questions require one, two, three, and four keys respectively to open. Players can only open questions for which they have a sufficient number of keys. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Whether you are looking for something to listen to while traveling, needing a break from the family, or wanting to listen to something during your food coma, I hope this bonus episode finds you well. The Greasy Stunts are the combination of The Cunning Stunts and The Palm Greasers and we play together every Tuesday night at 7:30PM CST in Russ Friedewald's online Trivia Workshop game at twitch.tv/triviaworkshop. On this holiday week, Russ took the night off, so I wrote an impromptu Thanksgiving-themed Lockdown Trivia game so the team could still get together and have some fun! "The Chicken Contenders" are Sheldon Lewis, Matt Lamia, & Keaton Hohenstein. "Fumbled It" players are DJ Carlile, Blake Jefferson, & Ben McGhiey. Here is the unedited game. Happy Thanksgiving!
