Product Description:

Some people have a different kind of drive - the drive for high intensity, fast speeds, & lots of miles. These people go further & see more. Even if they have a day job, they don’t let that stop them from using their limited time to see the sights & accomplish their goals. They choose to embrace challenges, & they like it! The Skyline Fastpack was designed for them.

It's the perfect pack for trail running, cross-country skiing, day hiking, backpacking (especially for those dialed-in ultralighters), trail running, & of course - fastpacking. Fastpacking is ultralight backpacking but fast. You’ve got to be able to move quickly while carrying everything you need for camping overnight in the backcountry. Your pack has to be able to handle all-day, on-the-move use while staying comfortable & giving you easy access to hydration and fuel.

Understandably, it also has to be small & light so it doesn’t weigh you down. A fastpack MUST be stable while you run. The Skyline Fastpack is versatile, comfortable, & built so that you can easily access what you need when you need it without removing your pack! It uses a shoulder harness suspension system that evenly distributes your pack weight & doesn’t allow your water flasks to bounce around uncomfortably.

Versatile pockets allow you to stash snacks, gear, or whatever else you need without fear of them falling out as you move. This shoulder harness suspension system hugs your body while still allowing you full range of motion for all-day comfort. Challenge Ultra stretch mesh is used for the back, side, & bottom pockets & it is both LIGHT & DURABLE. It’s hard to cut it even with scissors! It stretches & allows you to easily stuff your gear where you want, but weighs next to nothing.

This is some of the toughest and lightest mesh in the industry! The unique bottom pocket has 2 parts: a pass-through sleeve & a zippered mesh compartment. Stash your phone, gloves, maps, or anything else right where it’s easily accessible and safe. Every feature is intentionally designed, from the foam back panel that melds with your body to the versatile pocketing on the harness system that will keep your gear exactly where you want it when you need it. Don’t let long distances & limited timelines keep you from experiencing the wild places you crave. The Skyline Fastpack can help you satisfy that hunger.

EP 132 - Most Underrated Backpacking Gear: All-New Nebo Windbreaker Deep Dive20 Mar 202301:04:25

On this episode of the podcast, Tayson sits down with Brigham to discuss the new Outdoor Vitals wind jacket: The Nebo Windbreaker. Wind chill is one of the most underrated & fastest forces to make you feel cold - naturally causing you to want to throw on a bunch more layers! But extra insulation is bulky to pack, & can actually cause you to overheat while you’re still hiking or moving! You’ll go straight from being too cold to too hot!

OR you can throw on one 4 oz windbreaker that takes up next to no space in your pack! The Nebo Windbreaker is built to keep you warm by stopping wind chill, while staying breathable enough to keep hiking without overheating!

EP 128 - Sleep Better Outdoors: Oblivion Sleeping Pad Deep Dive21 Feb 202301:04:03

Oblivion Description: Getting good sleep on the trail isn’t a “bonus” in the backcountry. It’s absolutely necessary for your mind to be alert and for you to be fully present during your adventures, and a comfortable sleeping pad is one of the most important items to help you get the rest you need.

The Oblivion Sleeping Pad is a more comfortable 3 season pad that will help you sleep better in the outdoors without carrying extra weight! The 3-inch thick tufted I-beam cushion construction will keep your shoulders and hips off the ground whether you’re a side sleeper or if you sleep on your back.

So what about insulation? Multi-layer reflective insulation gives the pad an R-Value of 3.5 (ASTM R-value Standard) - perfect for 3 season adventures! But we didn’t stop there. We’ve added a reflective top fabric to help you retain as much of your own body heat as possible!

What this means is that you get a sleeping pad that’s warmer, more comfortable, & lightweight! You can sleep better in the backcountry without having to carry extra pounds with you!
