Limp Bizkit had a massive following in 1999/2000 but now things are different. Still their music has been felt over the years and I thought it would be fun to go over their albums and rank them from worst to best with a list guaranteed to confuse a lot of people.

I can't believe it's been 20 years. 20 years! Seems so long ago this album took the world by storm and turned the charts on their heads with Gorillaz blending of hip hop meets dub crossed over with rock as performed by the virtual band but with this album, Damon proved it wasn't just some gimmick. Join us as we do our review on Demon Days by Gorillaz for its 20th anniversary

I thought it was about time I did a list ranking all the Led zep albums from worst to best because why not?

Chilli has risen! Youtube comment sections can be an interesting minefield. Most of my videos are fine but from time to time we get an odd comment that needs addressing. Here is the response.

Back some 30 years ago metal music was in a decline but a little band from Tampa, Florida had other ideas and decided to turn their frustrations and anger into a relentless metal record. This Retro Review focuses on Iced Earth's album Burnt Offerings for its 30th anniversary so enjoy.

Santana is work horse who is always one to keep an eye out for but when it comes to this latest album it left me scratching my head. After all this was a bunch of songs that were outtakes that were remastered and if they weren't released already were they any good to begin with? Would the touch ups work their magic? Tune in to hear my thoughts on this new album.

Cradle Of Filth have been around the block for some 30 odd years playing their style of music but in all honesty - I've never listened to an entire album by the band. Their music always intrigued my though and Dani has some signature pipes on him so this is my review on their latest album.

Blackheaven certainly has earned a reputation within the community but that tends to happen when you become a success in an otherwise small field and with the rise of the Black Metal genre, a style that is very extreme, in recent years it was no surprise that a more accessible band kind of serves as a stepping stone. Anyway their latest effort is amazing and really doesn't hold back on any punches. Tune in to hear my thoughts on this new album

Well there is no beating around the bush here - this album sucks. Anyway tune in to hear my thoughts on the new direction change from Underoath

By the time Silverchair had hit the stage gunge was dead - or so they thought. Kurt had passed a year earlier and with it we started to see a shift in musical styles, except for the small town of Newcastle, who were going to see a high school band help shape the Australian music scene for years to come. On this episode of Retro Reviews we take a look at Frogstomp...

Queens Of The Stone Age had made a massive breakthrough with their album Songs For the Deaf utilising musicians such as Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters) and Mark Lanegan (Screaming Trees) but by the time they were gearing up for their fourth album it was almost like they had fallen apart, with Josh even contemplating splitting up the band. This album is on my highly anticipated albums for 2025 so it better not disappoint - tune in to hear my thoughts about the new album by Killswitch Engage

The 70s were dominated by massive rock n roll acts and none were perhaps bigger than Led Zeppelin. Born from the ashes of The Yardbirds they took the world by storm with their first five albums, but when it came time for their sixth it would be an ambitious undertaking that would become a double length album in what many Led Zep fans would call their best works. But is it really? Tune in to this special episode of Retro Review as I discuss facts about the album and songs as well as give my review on the album.

So often the genre of symphonic metal falls into the realms of rinse and repeat playing it safe. This is one of the reasons I never got into the genre but when it came to this album by Belle Morte, something was different. The formula had changed, the boundaries were being pushed, and all of this came out of some COVID era recordings. and a decision to challenge themsleves with outside help from guest musicians. Join me on this review of Pearl Hunting by Belle Morte

This album is on my list for most anticipated albums for 2025 so it has alot to live up to already but considering how the band have altered the metal scene already than it should be in safe hands. Tune in to this episode of 5 Minute Reviews to hear my thoughts on the new album by Jinjer

I would be lying if I said I was a massive fan of the band. Fact is I haven't heard their music in years but it did captivate me when I first heard them all those moons ago so I knew when I saw this new album had dropped I would have to check them out. Anyway here is my 5 minute review on Mogwai's 11th album - The Bad Fire

The world of music news has been wild during my time off with Randy Blythe taking on Elon Musk in recent times and new videos surfacing surrounding Tim Lambesis but the main point on this episode surround Ticketek and their practices which is hurting the Live music scene with extravagant ticket prices. Anyway, Neverminded the Sex Pistols, Here's the Bullocks.

#sxpistols #elonmusk #randyblythe #timlambesis #slipknot #sixfeetunder #craddleoffilth #ticketek

Well this album came straight out of the wood works suggested fresh from a metal meme page. If that's not the definition of a perfect start than I don't know what is....

Here is my review on the band Uuliata Digir, a band I can't and won't try pronouncing, and their debut album which slaps. Tune in to hear my thoughts.

In the history of music its common to see a band release an album that is divisive amongst the fanbase but it's extremely uncommon for that album to be the bands sophomore effort and is only exemplified after the band called it quits shortly after it came out. In this episode of Retro review I take a look at the elusive Second Coming album by The Stone Roses and determine if it is really worthy of the hate it gets or if its actually a good album.

This is my list for my most anticipated albums for 2025. If I missed any, or you want to give others a shout out, please feel free to comment below and let me know so I can keep an eye out for them.

The future is tomorrow's problem but it doesn't mean we can't ponder about what will happen and for this episode I thought it would be fun to think about what might happen in the music world in 2025. I plan to revisit this episode at the end of year to see how these hold up but most importantly what do you predict will happen in 2025.

Good things 2024 went off this year and despite weather issues the day was quite fun. Here is my recap on the festival.

While doom scrolling one day I came across a video that made the claim that Garth Brooks is the G.O.A.T and has sold more than Elvis or Michael Jackson. After a bit of back and forth I figured this video would clear the statement as to why this statement is incorrect and I want to give a shout out to the Author's channel which beside this one video is pretty cool and I subbed to them too, however the statement they made is incorrect.

Covering music news from Nico McBrian's retirement from Iron Maiden and his replacement touring drummer, AC/DC returning to the USA, System Of A Down's new shows With Korn and Deftones, Hellfest 2025 line-up, Static-X tour dates, Good Things festival 2024, Black Sabbath potential last show, King Diamond's new single and upcoming album, and the newest most offensive band shirt. We Hope you enjoy.

With the year about to close out I thought it would be about time to treat you to my favourite songs of 2024.

Let me know if I missed your favourite in the comment section below.

2024 is now wrapping up and I take a moment to look back at the best albums that were released this year

2024 is now wrapping up and I take a moment to look back at the worst albums that were released this year

In 1995 Marilyn Manson released his album Smells Like Children and is most notable for containing his breakthrough cover of the Eurythmics Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of These). It also contains remix tracks and various sound effects but has been often called an EP. This is incorrect and this video explains why...

This video might cause some controversy so I would be curious if you feel the same way and comment below. Just keep it civil...

It's that time of year where Spotify reminds us how much time we have wasted using this app. RIP my data.

Welcome to our first episode of Moments In Music where we discuss big events that happened and the impact that was felt. For this episode we discuss the untimely passing of Dimebag Darrell which occurred 20 years ago and the musicians who gave their tributes to our fallen brother and most importantely the song Aesthetics Of Hate by Machine Head.

We also discuss the article that was written after Dimebag's passing that inspired the Machine Head song and how I reached out to the author of the article in question for their offical response.

Rock In Peace Dimebag
