We're Tim and Christina, a married couple raising four really young kids and often second-guessing our decisions. On Little Big Humans, we combine our two unique perspectives to tackle the real challenges of family life, like choosing schools, understanding how kids learn, managing screen time, getting enough sleep, and building a flexible life without pretending to be perfect.
As a neuroscientist and former editor at The Lancet, Christina examines the research and asks, "What does the evidence really say, and where are the gaps?" With his background in data, AI, and studies in behavior change and Eastern philosophy, Tim questions the status quo, asking "Why is this the norm, and is it really the best way?"
We share our sources, acknowledge the limits of the evidence, and keep things honest - no sugarcoating or pretending everything is okay. We're just two people thinking deeply, in our own ways, and figuring things out as we go.
