When a highly sensitive man learns to protect himself... (INFJ / INFP)15 Aug 202600:18:04

I wonder if you've spent so much of your life protecting the sensitive part of yourself that, over time, the protection starts to feel like who you are.

For some highly sensitive men (HSPs), INFJs and INFPs, that armor might look like becoming strong, independent, successful, useful, quiet, funny, agreeable, or simply very good at reading the room. There were probably reasons you learned these ways of being. As sensitive children, many of us needed some way to feel safe when being fully ourselves didn't feel safe.

But I wonder if the part of you that needed that protection is still in there.

The curious part. The playful part. The part that gets excited about something beautiful, wants to be comforted, loves deeply, or simply wants to connect with other people without having to be so careful. Sometimes our sensitivity becomes an alarm system that watches for danger outside of us... and we can slowly lose touch with what's happening inside us.

And maybe coming back to ourselves doesn't mean tearing down every wall. Maybe it begins with noticing that there is still someone behind it.

In this journal entry, I gently explore the different forms that armor can take for highly sensitive men, where that protection may have come from, and what it might feel like to begin letting ourselves be more fully human again.

✨ If this reflection resonates, I’d love to hear from you. What form of armor have you taken on as your own?

And if words feel like too much today, a simple 🕯️ is enough to let me know you were here.

🍂 A Quiet Continuation If you've spent so long being protected by your armor that you've forgotten what you feel like underneath it, you may find a natural continuation in: When a highly sensitive man doesn't recognize himself... (https://youtu.be/UCYxognO89g)

XOXO,
Kate Harmony

🌿 About 🌿

Welcome to Lightbearer’s Library — a quiet place for highly sensitive men who feel deeply, notice deeply, and wonder why it has sometimes felt difficult to simply be themselves.

The Library exists to help men reconnect with the parts of themselves they may have had to set aside. Their curiosity, creativity, intuition, sensitivity, and the qualities that make them who they are.

Through reflective video journal entries, I explore sensitivity, masking, childhood experiences, belonging, and what it means to come home to yourself.

I share from my own life as an INFP HSP, and from what I’ve learned through my 11 years with my INFJ HSP husband and this community.

If you’ve ever felt unseen, misunderstood, or like you had to make yourself smaller to fit into the world, you’re welcome here.

When a highly sensitive man doesn't recognize himself... (INFJ / INFP)11 Aug 202600:13:43

Have you ever had the strange feeling that you don't really know who you are? For many highly sensitive men (HSPs), especially INFJs and INFPs, I wonder if it can happen after years of adapting to the people and expectations around us — until we become more familiar with who we needed to be than who we actually are.

I think there are three ways that we can be unknown.

Nobody knows me.
I don't let people know the real me.
And perhaps most strangely, I don't know myself either.

Maybe you've learned to hide the parts of yourself that were too sensitive, too emotional, too intense, too unusual, or simply not welcome. And after enough years of adapting, you may begin to wonder what was there before all that adapting.

What do you genuinely like? What do you want? What makes you curious? What matters to you? What do you believe? What kind of life feels like yours?

In this journal entry, I wanted to explore and get curious about how we come to know ourselves again. Not by trying to become someone new, but by reconnecting with the parts of ourselves we may have set aside along the way.

This is one of the reasons I find Jung's cognitive functions and MBTI personality theory so valuable. Not as another box to put yourself in, but as a language that can help us understand how we naturally see the world, make decisions, and move through it. It can help us ask questions of ourselves and perhaps understand what our gifts are and how we can show up in the world.

Maybe we don't have to have all the answers. Maybe we can simply begin by getting curious about the parts of ourselves we've left behind.

✨ If this reflection resonates, I'd love to hear from you in the comments. Have you ever wondered who you are underneath all the adapting?

🍂 A Quiet Continuation
If you've ever reached the point where you realize you don't quite know yourself anymore, you may find something familiar in this reflection on what it feels like to be lost. When a highly sensitive man feels lost... (https://youtu.be/x_l9VbgXqZY)

The quiet confusion of the empath man10 Jul 202600:14:46

Sometimes the hardest part of being an empath man isn't feeling deeply — it's not knowing which feelings are actually yours.

You may have spent years wondering why you walk away from conversations carrying emotions you didn't have before, why certain places leave you drained, or why another person's sadness, anxiety, or joy can feel as though it has entered your own body.

For many empath men, this quiet confusion can be difficult to explain. While highly sensitive people (HSPs) often feel the world deeply, empaths describe an experience that goes further — sensing and absorbing the emotional energy around them in ways that can make it difficult to separate their own inner world from what belongs to others.

In this journal entry, we explore:
• The quiet confusion of carrying emotions that may not be your own
• The difference between high sensitivity and the empath experience
• The relief of finally understanding experiences you could never explain

✨ If this resonates, you can leave a 🕯️ or a single word that reflects your experience.

🍂 A Quiet Continuation
If you recognize the quiet exhaustion of feeling more than you can explain, you may find a familiar reflection in my journal entry, The quiet exhaustion of the highly sensitive man (https://youtu.be/vxZLBvnWZ0w), which explores the deep weariness that comes from a life of quiet absorption.

🌿 About 🌿

Welcome to Lightbearer’s Library—a quiet sanctuary for highly sensitive men who often feel out of place in the modern world.

Many gentle men experience life with deep perception, emotional intensity, and an awareness that doesn’t always fit into the pace or tone of contemporary culture.

Here, sensitivity is not treated as something to overcome. It is treated as something to understand, honor, and live with dignity.

Through reflective journal entries, I share from lived experience as an INFP HSP, walking alongside my INFJ husband, exploring themes of sensitivity, belonging, emotional truth, and inner alignment.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re carrying too much in a world that asks you to feel less—you’re not alone here.

What is a toxic family? (a cozy chat)17 Dec 202500:14:43

Hello dear soul. Welcome back to the Lightbearer's Library for a new cozy chat—a sacred space for journaling and self-reflection. In this video, we're defining what makes a toxic family.

In this candid journal entry, I’m wrestling with the emotionally charged question: “What is a toxic family?” This conversation is not about labeling people as "bad," but about identifying and defining the unhealthy toxic dynamic that can exist in family relationships. I share my own journey of moving past the "rose-colored glasses" of memory and facing the reality of current dynamics.

If you’ve ever felt obligated, manipulated, or questioned whether to set a boundary with loved ones—especially around the holidays—this video is for you. We discuss why a relationship requires two people to actively want it, and how true self-growth sometimes means choosing the difficult path of saying "no, thank you."

I invite you to check in with your feelings and intuitions to set a conscious, intentional path for your life and your mental health.

✨ Remember, you are not alone in this. I'd love to hear your thoughts and insights in the comments below.

XOXO,

Kate Harmony

Change your feed, change your life14 Dec 202500:08:20

Hello dear soul, welcome to the Lightbearer's Library 🕊️

Are you feeling anxious, fearful, angry or inadequate every time you scroll? You are not alone. We think we're just consuming content, but we're actually absorbing the emotional state of everything we see. And the truth is, a lot of what's in our feeds is designed to make us feel bad.

But we have the power to CUT IT OUT, and choose a more meaning-filled life.

In this journal entry, I share my personal Lightbearer's 7-Day Digital Detox Plan—a practical, week-long process for reclaiming your energy, setting healthy boundaries, and cultivating a truly nourishing online experience. This isn't just about disconnecting; it's about intentional self-care that leads to profound personal transformation. It's time to stop letting your feed dictate your feelings and start living a lighter, more authentic life.

✨  The Lightbearer's Challenge  ✨

Follow these steps to change your feed, change your life:

Days 1 & 2: The Sensitivity Audit Become hyper-aware of what is draining your energy. Which channels or posts trigger feelings of inadequacy, anger, or jealousy? You’ve got to identify the triggers before you can remove them.

Days 3 & 4: The Great Unfollow Take action. Unfollow, unsubscribe, and block every source from your audit list. This is an act of self-care and establishing non-negotiable digital boundaries. This practice is about you, not judging the content creator.

Days 5 & 6: Replenish Your Light Intentionally search for channels that genuinely uplift you, bring you joy, and inspire you to become the person you want to be. Focus on nourishment.

Day 7: Commitment to the Glow Commit to maintaining your new boundaries. If a piece of content makes you feel negative for even a moment, cut it out. Keep your light glowing!

Stop telling people your goals12 Dec 202500:07:02

Hello dear soul, welcome to the Lightbearer's Library 🕊️

Are you sabotaging your biggest goals before you even start? In this journal entry, we're diving into the Saying vs. Doing Trap—a sneaky psychological phenomenon where announcing your goals gives your brain premature satisfaction, killing your real motivation. It’s like getting applause for a gym membership before you finish the marathon!

We explore two powerful shifts: moving our focus from the goal to your identity as someone who takes action towards that goal, and how to master the "Show, Don't Tell" principle to ensure your progress is so undeniable that people notice before you've even shared a word. Learn how to use your journal as the sacred space to nurture your goals and turn the urge to speak into the fuel for your work.

Let's choose showing vs telling to build the habits that will define our futures!

✨  The Lightbearer's Challenge  ✨

This week, commit to a high-priority goal, but keep it a secret from the world; your journal is your only confidant. Start by journaling your vision and the identity you are working to become. Then, every night record the one small, quantifiable action you did that day towards making your goal a reality. When the seven days are complete, come back and post #SilentAction in the comments to signal your silent progress!

Negative thought loops waste time, do this instead10 Dec 202500:09:42

Hello dear soul, welcome to the Lightbearer's Library 🕊️

In this journal entry, we delve into the topic of mental resilience, proving that a positive mindset is not about never falling into a negative thought spiral, but about the speed of our recovery. An emotional dip is fine, but the time spent in it should be minimal to preserve momentum.

We’ve all experienced how one small failure, difficult comment, or self-doubt can derail us into hours of wasted energy, regret, and rumination. This pattern steals our most sacred asset, time, and drains our life force. Therefore, we must learn how to defend it by breaking the rumination cycle, shifting our emotional state, and starting to reclaim our day's upward momentum.

So, that’s where the emotional momentum reset comes in, or what I’m calling a 3-2-1 Reset. It is a 5-minute process that turns a five-hour rut into a brief pause. Discover the practical wisdom of the 3-2-1 Reset: 3 seconds to diagnose the emotion, 2 minutes of physical movement, and 1 daily non-negotiable action that you have committed to in order to rebuild your self-trust. Find out more about this non-negotiable action in this journal entry called: The 1% rule is the cure for despair

Hello dear soul, welcome to Lightbearer's Library 🕊️ If you are an INFP in survival mode, struggling with draining family expectations and the weight of obligation, today’s journal entry is for you.

Dealing with intense emotional overwhelm and a chaotic world, many of us intuitive introverts are forced into survival mode, making the difficult choice to temporarily isolate and establish radical boundaries to prevent a downward spiral.

Join me as I share my own experience of needing to cut off external noise, embrace self-preservation, and why understanding your personality type gives you the necessary permission to prioritize the basics of self-care—you don't owe anyone your energy when you are focused on finding the internal space for meaningful personal growth.

The 1% rule is the cure for despair07 Dec 202500:07:39

Hello dear soul, welcome to the Lightbearer's Library 🕊️

In this journal entry, we turn to the words of Alfred Lord Tennyson: "I must lose myself in action, lest I wither in despair."

We all know the paralyzing weight of self-doubt, where the gap between desire and reality feels impossible. This video is about recognizing that inaction is where despair takes root, and that action is not just a tool for progress, but a spiritual necessity—a life preserver for your inner world.

The 1% Rule is the cure for despair because it bypasses the paralysis of perfectionism. It teaches you how to stop procrastinating and start the smallest, non-negotiable daily action. This small, consistent progress is the only path to rebuilding self-trust, shifting your identity from "the person who wants to" to "the person who does."

Discover how embracing the 1% Rule transforms your relationship with yourself and banishes the feeling of "withering" from stagnation. This is essential personal growth for anyone seeking inner world mastery.

The journey starts now. Ready to commit?

What tiny, consistent commitment (your 1% action) will you make this week to stop "withering"?

Self-Gaslighting: The cost of accepting lies06 Dec 202500:10:48

Are you self-gaslighting? In this journal entry I dive deep into the cost of accepting lies—both the ones society feeds us and, more importantly, the ones we tell ourselves.

When we accept external untruths, we create cognitive dissonance and a dangerous habit of self-gaslighting. This corrosive habit diminishes, demeans, and depresses us, blinding us to our own potential and the truth of the world. But there is a way out: a courageous path to practice truth, challenge the stories we’re told, and live a bigger, healthier, and freer life.

Join me in exploring the healing power of truth and how to become a brave questioner of everything. Let’s set ourselves and society free!

Your words bless or curse your life05 Dec 202500:05:59

Hello dear soul, welcome to Lightbearer's Library 🕊️

In this journal entry, we dive deep into the profound truth that our words bless or curse our life. Our words are not passive descriptions; they are the active creators of our reality. Every time we say "I am..." followed by a negative statement, we are using our tongue as a divine pen to write a script of limitation for our future—a self-inflicted curse.

I share the most effective practice I have found to break this negative cycle: The Journaling Practice. You will learn how to catch those negative "I can't" thoughts (like my great-grandmother's "I Can't Jar"), counter them with a life-affirming blessing, and consciously start speaking life and positivity into your future.

The practice starts now. Ready to commit?

✨ The Lightbearer's Challenge: ✨

Follow the Lightbearer's Library to join our community. Then, head down to the comments: What is one curse word (or statement like "I can't") you are banishing from your vocabulary today, and what is the new blessing you are adopting instead?

Want to see which negative thoughts might be hiding in your mind?

Listen to the journal entry called: Are violent words hiding in your language?

Why the highly sensitive man lets others walk over him (INFJ / INFP)07 Jul 202600:16:34

You keep showing up with kindness, patience, and understanding — yet quietly wonder why everyone feels safe leaning on you while so few notice when you need someone too. For many highly sensitive men, INFJ men, and INFP men, this quiet experience of being walked over can become deeply painful — especially when your gentleness is one of the things you value most about yourself.

There is a particular kind of exhaustion that comes from always being the understanding one. The one who notices. The one who helps. The one who carries what others forget to carry. Many highly sensitive men have spent years offering patience, empathy, and compassion while quietly wondering why their own feelings seem so easy for others to overlook.

This journal entry explores the hidden weight of being deeply kind in a world that does not always recognize gentleness as strength. Through my husband's experiences as a highly sensitive INFJ man, we reflect on the quiet patterns that can leave sensitive men over-giving, people-pleasing, and feeling walked over—the longing to remain loving without becoming invisible.

In this journal entry, we explore:
• The quiet experience of becoming everyone’s steady place while feeling unseen yourself
• Why speaking up can feel like going against your own gentle nature
• The hope of remaining gentle without being treated as invisible

🍂 A Quiet Continuation
If this reflection resonated with the weight of being the "safe place" for everyone else, you may find comfort in this next journal entry about the internal cost of that silence: When a highly sensitive man betrays himself... (https://youtu.be/8XkcvOCOAV0)

Stay for a while.

Waiting to be ready is self-sabotage04 Dec 202500:08:18

In this journal entry, we tackle the core of self-sabotage: the dangerous, yet common, belief that we are not quite ready yet to pursue our deep purpose. This need for perfection and tendency toward procrastination is an act of "wrecking" our own future, but the solution is not more planning—it's imperfect action.

We explore why we must learn to ACT WRONG and simply take a tiny, first step, using the power of habit and the wisdom of following your "inner voice." I share my own story of building the Lightbearer's Library one uncertain step at a time, guided by that voice, which is like a small candle in the darkness.

Join me to break the habit of waiting and replace it with the habit of daily action, moving toward a life of flourishing and freedom.

Wishing you many blessings,
Kate

Stop asking permission, start trusting your inner voice02 Dec 202500:09:07

Hello dear soul,

In today’s journal entry I encourage us to embrace our inner authority and trust our intuition as we navigate towards a meaning-filled life.

When we step away from seeking the approval of others and instead step into becoming the author of our own lives, we will find greater freedom. Why? Because we are each a unique soul that has come here with a unique perspective. When we follow our inner voice we will start flourishing!

I also share from my reading of Ralph Waldo Emerson’s essay Self-Reliance (1851). In particular his phrases: “Envy is ignorance,” and “Imitation is Suicide”!

I hope that this journal entry will empower you to take ownership of your life, validate your own path, and live with greater freedom and purpose.

As always, I wish you many blessings,

Kate

Get happy by going back in time01 Dec 202500:08:47

Hello dear soul,

In today’s journal entry I dive into the feeling of nostalgia, and explore its role in our search for meaning and happiness in today's fast-paced, tech-driven world.

I reflect on the myth of perpetual progress and how technology has impacted our lives. I encourage us to reconnect with the past in playful and mindful ways.

Whether it's embracing retro fashion, rediscovering the anthems of past decades, or even enjoying phone-free days, this journal entry offers practical tips for cultivating joy through nostalgia and slowing down in the present.

Join me as we explore how tapping into the feeling of nostalgia can help us live more intentionally, and feel more human.

Stop being you: Change your identity, change your health30 Nov 202500:09:10

Hello dear soul,

In today’s journal entry I explore how valuing ourselves as unique individual human beings can transform both our mental and physical health.

I believe our self-identity is the key to building healthier habits. Because when we identify ourselves as someone who exercises, then we are more likely to do so. When we identify ourselves as, say, a vegetarian, we are more likely to make dietary choices that align with that identity.

So let’s stop being ourselves, and intentionally take on some healthier identities that nurture our well-being!

I wish you much health,

INFP, feeling down? Uplift yourself with this…29 Nov 202500:06:41

Hello dear soul,

In today’s journal entry I share a simple habit that will boost our self-esteem and fend off feelings of anxiety and depression. What is it? Dressing our best of course!

As introverts (especially INFPs), we can get stuck in a rut and our mental health can start to spiral downwards. So, I suggest we take the time to dress up, even for everyday activities. We’ll start to feel more confident and when we’re out and about we’ll see that confidence mirrored in the people around us.

So ditch your sweatpants and give it a try!

Join me in creating a supportive community of lightbearers and celebrate the beauty of embracing our authentic (best-dressed) selves in this chaotic world!

I wish you many blessings,

Hello dear soul,

In today’s journal entry I share a personal story of experiencing a "mini miracle" and offer you practical ways to shift your own mindset towards positivity.

I explore the metaphor of thinking of thoughts as seeds we plant for our future self. By choosing either positive or negative seed thoughts, we sow our future harvests!

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the chaos of the world, this entry will inspire you to stay focused on the small things that are already going right in your life.

Hello dear soul,

Whether you're an INFP personality type or simply facing mental health challenges, in today’s journal entry I encourage us to clean up our spaces as a way to boost our mental well-being.

As our inner mental space gets further away from a healthy state, we can notice that our outer physical space can start to become disorganized and chaotic. Then when we think about starting to clean up, we can feel overwhelmed and anxious! Not a great combo.

So, today I share small practical ways we can start cleaning up our rooms as a way to empower ourselves and spiral upwards to better mental health!

The quiet lostness of the highly sensitive man (INFJ / INFP)03 Jul 202600:23:51

Feeling lost as a highly sensitive INFJ/INFP man can feel like quietly drifting without an inner map, constantly wondering where you’re supposed to belong or what your life is actually for. This is a journal entry for gentle, sensitive men who feel unseen, overwhelmed, or quietly displaced in a world that rarely knows how to hold their depth.

There is a particular kind of exhaustion that comes from not knowing where you belong, while still carrying a rich inner world that few people ever notice. You may find yourself overthinking your purpose, questioning your value, and trying to make sense of thoughts that feel too heavy to hold alone.

And yet beneath all of that uncertainty, something quieter remains alive in you—something observant, tender, and still capable of meaning. In this space, we don’t try to fix the lostness. We sit with it. We listen to it. And slowly, through self-reflection, journaling, and emotional honesty, we begin to come home to ourselves.

In this journal entry, we explore:
- the quiet experience of feeling emotionally lost and internally displaced
- the layers of anger and the beliefs formed long ago
- the slow return to self-trust through reflection and gentle witnessing

✨ If this resonates, you can leave a 🕯️ or a single word that reflects how “lostness” feels for you right now.

Next ▶️
If you’ve spent years quietly abandoning your own needs to stay safe, you may find the next step toward yourself in: When a highly sensitive man betrays himself (https://youtu.be/8XkcvOCOAV0).

Are violent words hiding in your language?21 Nov 202500:14:20

Hello dear soul,

In today’s journal entry, I explore the power of our words and their potential to harm ourselves and others.

In our Western culture there is a metaphor that we live by that is described as “Argument as War”. This means conversation is treated as a verbal battle, where there is a winner and a loser. Within everyday speech tactics are used to “attack”, “defend” and “counterattack”.

I look to Eastern philosophy, especially India’s concept of Ahimsa (non-violence or non-harm) as an antidote. With this concept in mind we can start to observe the words we choose when speaking to others as well as the self-talk we direct inward.

I also share how learning about personality theory (Carl Jung’s cognitive functions, along with the Myers-Briggs framework) has changed my outlook of right and wrong, winner and loser. It helps us to see that every individual has a different perspective and that instead of assuming they are wrong, we can instead cultivate curiosity in our conversations with those we may not agree with.

Join me on this journey of self-awareness, and I hope that together we can foster more compassion and kindness for ourselves and others!

I wish you many blessings,

Rethink the podcasts you listen to19 Nov 202500:08:03

Hello dear soul,

In today’s journal entry, I explore how the podcasts we listen to affect our mental and physical health.

As in all times in history, the world is full of “calamity howlers” or those who spread doom and gloom. Many of them are podcasters. Why do they do this? It gets the clicks! But why do we click?! Because of our brain’s negativity bias… yup, our brain is wired to pay attention to dangers in our environment and the creators of media know this.

Here’s the thing though, by paying attention to fear-driven content, it sends our thoughts spiraling into negativity. As we know, our thoughts affect our mental health as well as our physical health. Just notice how your body feels when you’re angry vs when you’re happy!

So, to be happy and positive, we must turn our attention away from podcasters who trigger fear and anxiety in our minds and choose more positive uplifting media.

I hope this helps you to feel more positive!
I wish you many blessings,
Kate

P.s. Here's the quote from today's entry:

"Be sure and not take on false suggestion. The world is full of calamity howlers. Turn from them, every one, no matter how great you think they may be. You haven't the time to waste over anything that is negative." Ernest S Holmes "Creative Mind and Success" (1919)

How 'Right & Wrong' Controls Your Life11 Nov 202500:10:52

Dear soul, do you often feel the relentless pressure to be right? This journal entry explores the cultural and historical roots of the fear of being wrong and how this rigid worldview unconsciously controls our lives, breeding intellectual hostility in the world and within us.

We dive into how this orthodoxy/heresy mindset creates a constant need to be "correct." Understanding this mental trap is the first step to freedom. We use personality theory to show why every perspective is valuable, proving there is no one "right" way of thinking or feeling.

We look at simple practices to cultivate humility and slow down our reactions to things that challenge us. We start by calming our bodies and hearts. It's time to cultivate radical humility and step into a kinder, more authentic, and deeply meaning-filled life.

Let's stop the fighting and become less reactive today.

INFJ men feel alienated. INFP men feel invisible.30 Jun 202600:19:06

If you’ve ever felt like you’re oscillating between two worlds—the INFJ and the INFP—you aren’t alone.

On the surface, we can look like mirrors of each other: the dreamers, the idealists, the ones trying to live from something deeper. But inside, the experience of being human can feel completely different.

In today’s journal entry, I’m reflecting on what I’ve noticed through 11 years of living with an INFJ man, and my own experience as an INFP woman. This isn’t just about personality theory—it’s about what it actually feels like to exist from the inside of these two inner worlds, especially when they are often confused from the outside.

Whether you feel the weight of existential alienation as an INFJ, or the quiet searching for alignment as an INFP—or in different ways, the sense of not being fully understood—I hope this brings a little more clarity, and a little more relief.

In this journal entry, we explore:
• Why these two inner worlds often process life so differently beneath the surface
• The exhaustion of constantly translating your inner world for people who don’t naturally speak your language
• My lived experience navigating love, misunderstanding, and difference between these two inner worlds

✨ THE INFJ MEN’S SANCTUARY
I’m considering creating a small, intimate space for 6 INFJ men to gather once a week for four weeks—a place to stop translating and experience a pause from existential alienation. If you’re an INFJ man and this resonates, please let me know in the comments.

▶️ Next If you’ve recognized that feeling of being invisible or alienated, you might also realize how often you’ve chosen to hide your true self just to survive—I think you’ll find a lot of relief in my journal entry: Why we hide as highly sensitive people (https://youtu.be/vQbpuEQnMhQ)

If you’ve ever felt like you’re carrying too much in a world that asks you to feel less—you’re not alone here.

Stay for a while.

Why ‘normal’ opinions might be keeping you anxious07 Nov 202500:13:10

Hello dear soul,

In today’s journal entry, I share a powerful strategy to help us navigate anxiety, fear, and confusion in today’s chaotic world.

By questioning everything and assuming that "everyone is lying," we can overcome the "normalcy bias" and break free from the fear-driven narratives around health, society, and everyday life. I explore how building trust in our intuition, senses, and thinking can empower us to find the truth.

If you’re looking for deeper insights on how to trust yourself, think critically, and reclaim your sense of humanity, this video is for you.

I hope this helps, and I wish you many blessings,

Kate

INFP Revelation: Heal trauma with emotional containment04 Nov 202500:12:51

Hello dear soul,

In today’s journal entry I share a revelation that has given me new hope for healing the traumatic explosion that has been rocking my internal emotional landscape for the last 5 years!

It’s all thanks to Renaud  ⁨@RensRoom⁩ who made this video on the cognitive function of Introverted Feeling (Fi): Why Fi Feels So Different. And this video in the INFP: The INFP: Reimagined.

He talks about the fantasy of Fi being one of emotional containment, and in this journal I share how the metaphor of plexiglass has been my way of protecting my internal emotional landscape. His video helped me to realize that that is what has been shattered through family trauma, and has given me the perspective shift that I can now used to rebuild my emotional container to find wholeness and healing.

So, if you’re an INFP or ISFP, I hope that my reflection can help you to find some peace within yourself if you’ve been dealing with emotional trauma!

Wishing you many blessings,
Kate

Why highly sensitive men don't lose their humanity (INFJ / INFP)27 Jun 202600:11:17

How does a highly sensitive man (INFJ / INFP) hold onto his humanity in a world that feels increasingly disconnected and less human? There is a quiet tension many sensitive men carry — the sense that the world is moving in a direction that asks them to feel less, notice less, become less. And yet something inside refuses that reduction. A deeper instinct that says: this is how I stay alive to myself.

There is a kind of strength that does not look like hardness. It looks like staying emotionally open when something in you wants to shut down. Noticing when something doesn’t align and learning to trust that feeling as guidance.

And beneath all of it is a question many never say out loud: How do I stay human when everything pulls me toward numbing out?

In this journal entry, we explore:
• the quiet pressure to numb yourself in modern life
• how sensitivity can become guidance instead of weakness
• what it feels like to stay emotionally open when shutting down feels easier

✨ If something in this resonates, you can leave a single word or a 🕯️ below.

Next ▶️ Choosing to stay human is essential, but it can also be wearying. This journal entry is for when our sensitivity starts to feel like a burden: The quiet exhaustion of the highly sensitive man (https://youtu.be/vxZLBvnWZ0w)

XOXO,
Kate Harmony
