Ya'll know we have been on a health journey after finding out that I was bitten by an infected tick with Lyme disease. We just finished up an entire month/30 days of a strict Carnivore diet AND I went completely GLUTEN free after discovering I'm gluten intolerant. While it's been a stressful few months, I'm excited to share a health update with ya'll as my symptoms have improved SO much. Unfortunately, we have some not so good news about Joe :( But...we're in it to win it and we're hittin' this head on. No way we're letting this steal our joy! Hi friends! Let's talk MILK shall we? To milk or not to milk? That's the question. I've had the pleasure of milking goats, sheep and cows. Having a dairy animal has always been such a blessing to my family. In today's episode, I'm going to chat with you about my thoughts & experiences with dairy animals. How I started out, what I learned and took away from those experiences & what my goals are for the Alaska homestead in regards to possibly having another dairy animal in our near future!

Parenting is tough, no bones about it. Navigating teenage years and having an adult child brings a whole other level of challenges. In today's show, I hope to encourage you to dig deep & don't give up. Don't grow weary in parenting your children because the Lord has called us to guide them and be their greatest teacher. Parenting is HARD, we must do the hard thing especially in today's culture. Our children desperately need our guidance, reassurance & love...even if they act like they don't want it. Where's all the John the Baptists of today's culture? Every day I hear people telling Christians to sit down & shut up, "don't judge," "just love." Friends we are not called to be silent and enable or condone blatant sin. In fact, we are called to do the opposite. Speak TRUTH in love...but speak truth. Without truth, there is no love amen? John the Baptist was beheaded for speaking truth. For calling out King Herod's unlawful marriage publicly! I'm encouraged by the heros of the Bible the boldy spoke truth and walked in obedience. I hope today's show encourages you to stand with me against the evil ways of this culture and speak truth...to be the John the Baptists of our culture!

It's been a long road, a journey of physical pain & a lot of wasted money to make me realize that I was beautiful the way God made me to begin with. I hope my story will encourage someone out there that is considering implants or that already has them and is thinking about removing them.
