He played 40K and Warhammer Fantasy at friends' houses and on dining room tables. Travis also dabbled in role-playing games like D&D, but his main focus was always on miniatures and board games. He regrets selling his Wood Elves army to fund a Vampire Counts army. Travis played most of his games in people's houses and at GW stores in malls. He stopped playing during the 7th or 8th edition of 40K. The conversation covers various topics, including the history of Warhammer 40K, favorite video games, and the challenges of creating good video games based on the Warhammer IP.
