On Friday April 16th, the Biden Administration announced that it would be keeping the historically low refugee ceiling set by the Trump administration for fiscal year 2020. But, after an outpouring of opposition from faith leaders and advocates like World Relief, President Biden reversed course saying he would set a new refugee ceiling on May 15th.Â
