Zane Claudio is known as the bad guy in the vertical scene. The super-likable and always-smiling actor has so far appeared in almost exclusively evil roles. This naturally means that he has almost perfected the character of the evil in verticals.
What does Zane himself think about almost always playing the role of a villain? Wouldn't he prefer to play the highly sought-after and popular billionaire CEO in a romantic drama?
And what's it like when you spend all day playing the villain on set and then have to learn the lines for the next day? Is it even possible to slip out of the villain's skin, or does it keep you trapped?
We also chat about Zane's "to watch list" when it comes to movies, what music he likes to listen to privately, and how he manages this fast pace and large number of vertical shoots so well.
And then, of course, there's the all-important question that might tip the scales in the conversation and ultimately the relationship: pineapple on pizza - yes or no?

He comes from a professional dance background and uses his physical knowledge to help tell stories in innovative ways using a selection of powerful cinematic tools.
After initially being respectful of vertical filmmaking, he says he has settled into it after ten projects and enjoys constantly taking on new vertical challenges in a wide variety of countries. He's brimming with new, inspiring ideas and has wonderful location and genre visions that we chat about in this podcast episode.
