Her parents, however, are very catholic and not supportive of the LGBTQ+ community. They think we are only friends. I'm okay with my gf not coming out to them, but since she has a close relationship with her parents, I don't know if our relationship should be a secret in the long-term. On the other hand, I'm afraid that revealing our relationship will bring hardships to her and destroy her relationship with her parents. Do you have any advice or experience with this?
