Lick Iz Out03 Apr 202600:06:06

A song I wrote for my 'England's Best Comedian' show.

I think it's one of the best things I've written.

It's just a joke?02 Apr 202600:10:23

Some thoughts I'm having about something I've been saying onstage recently.

Which is the Best? - Episode 201 Apr 202600:39:39

Episode 2 of my old podcast with Sammy Dobson, with, I think, the first of her insane somehow true anecdotes.

Original blurb from 2017:

Welcome to episode 2 of 'Which is the Best?' where the comedians Sammy Dobson and Lee Kyle decide which is the best out of things with identical or similarly named things.

This week: Blockbusters or Blockbusters?

Which is the best out of smash hit Hollywood movies or an 80s Bob Holness quiz? Yes, we are aware that there is a video shop of this name too but it was not included because it is rubbish.

and Lindisfarne or Lindisfarne?

Which is the best out of a 70s Geordie rock group or an island off the coast of Northumberland?

Really bears fruit this one, Lee talks about a childhood holiday for catholic boys he once took and Sammy follows up with an anecdote about her fathers, frankly stunning, place in pop history.

Talking about the Edinburgh Fringe Announcement31 Mar 202600:08:06

An hour ago, Felt Nowt announced their Edinburgh Fringe venue, it's huge news, and here are my thoughts.

Spandex Ballet Chapter 230 Mar 202600:24:07

The second chapter of my actual book about my nine years as a wrestler, I think this might be the chapter where I talk about the top 40 chart I used to have on my wall.

It's quite something.

BRAND NEW EPISODE! - 21 Questions 34 - Alex Redman27 Mar 202600:26:44

A brand new version of my 2011-2013 podcats 21 Questions where I asked someone 21 Questions, with the twist being that the guest then replaced one of the list with a question of their own.

By the end, none of the questions were mine. So, after 13 years, I dug up the questions again and had a chat with whimsical comedy lady Alex Redman and, you know, it was a lot of fun.

24 Minutes of Funny Team - Episode 126 Mar 202600:24:01

In 2014 I think, myself and the other members of the now defunct sketch group Funny Team, would meet up every week (Well, the ones of us who were free that week anyway) would chat for exactly 24 minutes.

I remember it being funny and also us taking over each other a lot.

Jesters - Mark Sheridan25 Mar 202600:20:31

One of part of a series of podcasts we did with Tyne and Wear Museums and Archives.

The story of Mark Sheridan - The Sunderland comedian who is said to have killed himself because of a bad review.

Which Is The Best? Episode 124 Mar 202600:38:24

Out of all of my podcast, Which Is The Best? was the best, longest running and most succesful, we should have probably kept going really, as we just missed podcasts getting massive and having patreons.

Anyway, it's me and Sammy Dobson deciding between things with the same or similar names.

This is episode one from NYE 2015.

Original Blurb:

First Episode of Which is the Best? is out now, where we decide which is the best out of a compass and a compass and then decide whether Jennifer Rush, Huey Lewis and the News or Frankie Goes To Hollywood did the best 'The Power of Love'.The blurbs got better.

My Worst Gig23 Mar 202600:13:47

Sometimes people ask me what my best gig was, I can never remember.

My worst one? Oh, it's right there. And it was only a year or so ago, let me take you back to Christmas 2024..

Get Out Of Bed You Little Shit! 120 Mar 202600:40:25

Okay, this is an odd idea from lockdown again, when my son Keir came home for the duration.

It's a weeks worth of me recording the first five minutes after waking him up in the morning while he simply wasn't in the mood.

Oxbridge Entrance Exam 2 - Neil Harris19 Mar 202600:10:45

One of my favourite series this, I feel like it takes time to grow but it all ties together in the end and is a lot of fun.

I play a professor, he's odd. I see if comedians get into Oxbridge University, it gets dark.

This is with Neil Harris, from teh Edinburgh Fringe a few years back.

Original Blurb:

Welcome to episode 2 of The Oxbridge Entrance Exam Podcast.I (Lee Kyle, not famous comedian)found a book, I'm asking comedians questions from it.

The questions are ones that may be asked if you are in an interview to get into Oxford or Cambridge.

The questions are ridiculous.

It's the first day of the Edinburgh Fringe, I intend to put out an episode each day, I already feel too tired.

The first one is a short one, as I've just arrived and have been rushing around a lot, it's a fun one though. The length of these will vary, sometimes they may be recorded in less than ideal places. It's a busy month.Today: Neil Harris.Neil is a great newish comic doing his first hour show (The terribly named 'A Comedy Brunch 3') at 10am at The Scotsman all month. He's worth a punt if you like comedy that is clever and stupid at the same time delivered by a maths nerd who you'll like.

Talking about my Dad18 Mar 202600:17:02

I guess this one might be a bit heavy for some?

Anyway, I don't know who my Dad is, but there is a man that had that title.

There's a story behind it, and I wanted to get it out.

Spandex Ballet - Chapter 117 Mar 202600:23:20

The first chapter of my actual hit book Spandex Ballet, hope you like it!

The Oxbridge Entrance Exam 1 - Julie Grady Thomas13 Mar 202600:25:49

My oddest podcast?

A few years ago, I recorded a podcast every day of the Edinburgh Fringe, based on a book I found, of questions you might be asked if you try to get into Oxford or Cambridge.

Then, I took on the role of a professor interviewing comedians to decide if they could get in.

I think it stated fairly reasonably, but got weird but the end of the run.

This is the first, with the acceptable face of America, Julie Grady Thomas!

Every Episode of the Upper Hand - 112 Mar 202600:28:09

From Lockdown - No idea why I started this but I'm definitely going to do more (Maybe)

It's me, watching unenjoyable ITV sitcom The Upper Hand and talking about what is happening.

I realise now, that I am am calling the McGann brother in it the wrong name.

I think it plugs my old patreon, I don't have it anymore, but please join the Felt Nowt one!

What's It Like?... To Audition11 Mar 202600:36:37

A BRAND NEW episode of What's It Like? Where I interview interesting people about one specific aspect of their life.

This one is with my friend the comedian, singer and actor Kelly Rickard and we talk about the auditioning process, especially what it was like as a young woman in London living far from home.

It's not all roses, and Kelly tells it very candidly.

1am - Leeds Bus Station10 Mar 202600:08:52

Not for the first or last time, it's 1am and I'm in Leeds Bus Station waiting for a coach to Sunderland.

Just been in Grimsby, it's very cold.

Share one of the huge downsides of being a non driving comedian with me,

Grimsby Valentine09 Mar 202600:09:03

Welcome to the first real episode of my daily podcast!

This was recorded on Valentine's Night, when rather than being at home with my wife, I had a surprisingly tricky journey to a gig in Grimsby.

Never been before, join me having a few thoughts on my way to the gig, what IS Grimsby like on the most romantic night of the year?

A bit of chat on my way to Keep Standing Up09 Mar 202600:08:47

Just that really, some thoughts about why I'm doing the podcast too.

Welcome to my Final Podcast!23 Feb 202600:02:33

Alright kats?

Here is a taster of my Final Podcast which will be launching daily - DAILY!- on 9th March.

This will quickly and vaguely explain what it is, even more quickly, I can explain that it is basically anything.

Some days it'll be a chat with someone, some days just me. Sometimes it'll be one of the hundreds of episodes of over a dozen podcasts I've made, sometimes a brand new idea. Sometimes it'll be a new episode of one of my old podcasts.

So. I can promise both consistency and inconsistency.
