After graduation, she even relocated to work full-time with the same company. Elizabeth is currently the Director of Medical Education and Lead Pharmacist at Green Thumb Industries. She is also the Clinical Director of Rise Maryland. These positions allow her to work directly with physicians and patients to improve health and wellness through the use of cannabis. During this time, Brandon developed an interest and passion for teaching and, therefore, decided to pursue a Master of Science in Medical Education from LECOM. Brandon now works at LECOM as an associate professor of pharmacy practice and is the School of Pharmacy director of pharmacy residency education. Brandon shares his experience as a student and his path toward becoming an educator as one of the LECOM healthcare heroes.

Taylor is a LECOM student in the class of 2022 and is enrolled in the accelerated pathway at the Erie campus. She completed her prerequisites at Slippery Rock University and is very active as a student at LECOM. Taylor is one of the ambassadors that interacts with admissions candidates during the admissions process and participates in recruiting events hosted by the School of Pharmacy. She is also a member of Phi Lambda Sigma, which is the national pharmacy leadership society. Taylor shares her experience as a student, her aspirations as a future pharmacist, and keys to her path toward becoming one of the LECOM healthcare heroes.

In this podcast episode, Dr. Dinh is joined by her cohost, Dr. Yoon- Assistant Dean of Clinical Education. Together they welcome back Dr. Matt Draudt, an alumnus of the LECOM School of Dental Medicine, for a conversation about the rewarding career of a dentist.

Dr. Matt Draudt is originally from Utah and loves the outdoors. Before attending college at Utah Valley University, he spent two years on a service trip in Brazil and is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish. After completing his undergraduate studies from Utah Valley University, Dr. Draudt continued his studies at LECOM School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. While at LECOM, he dedicated his time learning the foundational principles of dental medicine and graduated in 2018. Dr. Draudt has a special interest in dental implants and oral surgery and has completed additional education in these fields.

Dr. Draudt is currently practicing at his own dental office called Greenway Dental in Morganton, North Carolina. He spends a lot of time keeping up to speed on the newest and greatest techniques developed in order to provide the highest quality of care for his patients. He enjoys serving others and has participated in many dental service trips. He genuinely appreciates treating patients and building lifelong relationships with them.
