Our new podcast series hopes to help people struggling with their dogs’ behaviours.

This episode concentrates on how to prevent your dog from jumping up with advice from Kris Glover – Head of Clinical Behaviour Services at Dogs Trust.

She describes the three main reasons why a dog jumps up and gives simple tips on how to stop it happening.

1) Excitement – you come in the door and the dog really wants to say hello

2) Trying to steal – surfing the surfaces or jumping right up on the table

3) Fear – a dog may jump or lunge towards someone in order to push them away
