There are plenty of plot holes in the League of Legends lore, and we certainly don't blame Riot Games for that. I mean, we do, but we get it too. Another old champion this week, and this one made me realize how hard we were on Garen, and I never thought I'd say that one. The Sinister Blade truly is just that and not much else, but Riot Games scrapped a lot of old lore from Katarina, including her romance. GIVE IT BACK! THEY BOTH REALLY NEED IT, MAN.

Kassadin had about as much as Cho'Gath, truly showing us once again how little attention the Void has gotten from the Riot lore team. This Void Walker certainly looks the part, but his  story paints a different picture, one of a pretty average dude who got a little in over his head. Or became Batman, in Mark's eyes. PLEASE GIVE US MORE VOID LORE!

Although The Magical Cat isn't a yordle, she has about as much lore as one. Yuumi is different from a lot of other champions fighting their way around Runeterra, so it's only natural she hangs out with the other stuff a little too cute for all the monsters and world-ending crap. Perhaps the most potential we've ever seen in a champion, the Daughter of the Void is a rad concept with a visual design that doesn't come close to matching, along with some stories that left us feeling a little uninspired. We quite like Kai'Sa though and brainstormed on what could be done to make her lore click better.

While we learned a lot about this Loose Canon in Netflix's Arcane series, it was fun see how her League of Legends lore could tie into all this new content. Unfortunately Riot fell into some old habits with a mysterious figure and boy howdy, what is her connection to Enforcer Vi, I wonder? But overall, some fun tidbits and a load of AU's.

While Runeterra sure has it's fair share of murders, The Virtuoso has a flair that puts him above the rest. Although his stories revolve a bit more about Shen and Zed (two names that are very hard to say together), Jhin's voice shines through as he counts to four many times and "fixes" faces.

Act 3 surely didn't disappoint, with Silco really stealing the show for us this time. But, of course, Vi and Jinx broke our hearts like they did in every other act of this show. I'm just glad Ekko showed up. Can you believe he was the owl mask?! Shocking!!

Act 2 of Arcane didn't disappoint, and we really can't get over how incredible Jinx is. Between the Vi/Caitlyn, Heimerdinger's sad eyes, and the lore's first sex scene, we had quite a bit to discuss. Hoping for Act 3 to unmask the owl and finally get Viktor in the sick threads we all know and love.

This Grandmaster at Arms sure had a backstory, but all I remember is that it involved eggs. Jax is super into eggs, y'all, and so are we now. I never thought we'd hit anyone duller than Garen but oof. Here we are! The Exemplar of Demacia seems to have trouble deciding between serving his country or being a reckless dolt, and that didn't sit well with us. Most of his potential lies in the people around him, mostly because Jarvan's lore isn't really about Jarvan. But it did make us excited to learn more about Shyvana one day!

Never mind the fact we spend the first 10 minutes wheezing over Janna's old voice over (which also involved a lot of wheezing). The Storm's Fury ended up having little to do with storms, or fury, but she does throw some wind around sometimes, and she gave us even more devastating stories about Zaunite children.
