History class in back!!

By 2013, Blythe dolls had garnered a devoted global following among collectors and enthusiasts. The year’s early releases featured a range of captivating designs, including fantasy hair colors, intriguing backstories, and striking aesthetics, which had collectors eager to add these dolls to their collections.

History class is now in session! In the year 2012, known as Red Delicious, Neo Blythe celebrated its 11th anniversary in Japan. It was also the year when Junko made the decision to extend Blythe's journey for another decade, a decision that brings us immense joy!

Welcome to the second part of the 2011 Blythe releases!!

Although this year saw fewer  releases  compared to previous ones, it more than compensated with exceptional quality of dolls. Nicky  is not only  an  avid  Blythe collector, photographer and maker, what's even more exciting  is that Nicky  and her mother are currently  gearing up to  host  a premier  event in their home town.  The venue is a splendid  old church,  in a picturesque  town with  300 enthusiastic dolly collectors.  Holey moley its going to be a fun event!

Returning to our historical exploration this week, let's revisit the year 2011.

A decade has passed since the debut of the new Blythe dolls, and 2011 is affectionately dubbed 'The Year of 10 Happy Memories.' While it may not be characterised by numerous releases, the dolls that grace us for collecting during this year  are undeniably  stylish.
