柴賽是現在古典音樂界規模最大，項目最齊全的比賽之一，可以說是古典音樂的奧林匹克

其實，柴賽從創辦初期一路走來，也經歷了不少大風大浪和動盪不安。

柴賽管網裡也提到” 只要柴可夫斯基繼續生活在我們的音樂中，只要世界各地的還有人欣賞他的音樂，只要音樂廳裡還能有人演奏柴可夫斯基的曲子，柴可夫斯基大賽就會繼續存在下去。"

進行曲的歷史和軍樂隊(military band)的演變其實也有很長的發展歷史，最早的軍樂隊在13世紀就有記載，進行曲在16世紀後也開始受到了重視。
而我們總說是藝術源於生活，但我們一般熟知的音樂史卻都只專注在那些在音樂廳或舞台上發生的歷史，而這些功能性高於藝術性的進行曲，卻是真真正正的從戰場上發展而來。

錯誤更正：莫札特歌劇魔笛雖然融合了喜歌劇的元素，但它本身是歌唱劇(Singspiel)，並不是喜歌劇，我們用魔笛作為例子，實在不太嚴謹，請大家包涵。莫札特創作的喜歌劇有唐喬望尼(Don Giovanni)、費加洛的婚禮(The Marriage of Figaro)、女人皆如此(Cosi Gan Tutte)等。

曾經有人開玩笑說，韋瓦第他不是創作了500首協奏曲，而是一首協奏曲他寫了500次 (Vivaldi didn't really write five hundred concertos, he wrote the same concerto five hundred times)。
雖然這只是一個調侃他作品相似度很高的笑話，但500這個數字，可不是隨便說說的，他是真的創作了500多首協奏曲。可是為什麼他有這麼多作品，就只有《四季》紅了?

不知道從何時開始，古典音樂變成電影或是電視劇中反派的一種象徵，尤其是在許多好萊塢電影中反派在正在犯罪時，很多都是配上古典音樂作為背景音樂。
雖然不知道那些電影在選擇配樂時，有沒有加入心理學或科學的因素，所以選擇古典音樂來搭配反派的出場，但我們歸類了幾個可能的原因。

19世紀音樂會的標準曲目也不是交響曲，而是各種歌劇選曲，相當於當時的流行音樂!

你聽過多少個版本的大黃蜂的飛行呢?那你又知不知道大黃蜂的飛行原來是寫給什麼樂器的?

古典音樂史中，改編一直都是非常重要的一塊市場，只是可能因為改編的太成功，大家常常忽略了改編/原版的曲子。

去看一場流行音樂會，舞台上的明星通常都光鮮亮麗，非常吸睛。

你能想像音樂神童叫人去吃屎，還寫了一首曲子，歌詞基本上就是叫人「舔我屁屁」嗎?
莫札特其實有許多作品，還有私下的書信，都充滿了「廁所幽默」，而且學者們卻對莫札特這種粗言粗語非常感興趣。

對於非音樂專業出身的人來說，不聽古典音樂的主要原因是因為聽不懂。

但是「聽懂」音樂這件事情，從來不是古典音樂存在的目的。

古典音樂並不是用來區分受過音樂教育的菁英階級，或者是一般聽眾，更不是拿來考驗聽眾的音樂知識。
