It brings together works by Scotland's foremost portrait painter, many from private collections, which haven't been seen in public for some time, some possibly ever. About the host: Amanda Herries read Archaeology & Anthropology at Cambridge. In 1978 she became curator at the Museum of London, specialising in the decorative arts from 1718 to present day.
