KS 427 - From Audio Roots To A Wider Reach: How Kingdom Success Is Expanding To YouTube And Equipping Marketplace Believers
A quiet feed can either signal drift or discernment. For us, it signaled a pivot born from prayer and a renewed commitment to serve marketplace believers with sharper tools and a wider reach. We pressed pause to listen, and what surfaced was simple: the audio podcast continues, and we’re adding video to amplify the mission.
We walk you through the why behind the shift—how YouTube’s discovery and visual format will help us break down practical frameworks for Christian entrepreneurs and professionals. Think family-aligned goal setting, meeting rhythms that honor people and results, and weekly planning that ties prayer to priorities and profit. I’m also pursuing two consulting certifications to bolster the coaching you receive here, giving us common language and proven methods for leadership development, legacy planning, and values-driven decision making at work and at home.
You’ll hear how the focus stays steady: equipping men in the marketplace while welcoming women who resonate with this approach. We talk about stewarding influence without hype, building systems that strengthen marriages and families, and choosing assignments that fit your calling, not just your résumé. The podcast remains your companion for the commute; the YouTube channel adds visuals, templates, and reach so you can see the tools and apply them faster. If this journey has helped you, share an episode with someone who needs clarity and courage for their next step. Subscribe, join us on YouTube by searching “Tyler McCart,” and tell us what topics you want covered next so we can build what serves you best.
Legacy doesn’t wait for retirement; it starts with the next choice you make today. We open up about a book that grabbed our attention—The Legacy Life by David Green and Bill High—and why it shifted how we read Scripture, build businesses, and raise families. From the marketplace to the kitchen table, we unpack why legacy is motion, why it isn’t about you, and how a spiritual foundation turns wealth and work into tools for service rather than trophies.
If this resonates, share it with one person who comes to mind and tell them you’re thinking about their legacy. Then subscribe, leave a review, and let us know the first habit you’ll start this week.
What if everything we've been taught about success is backward? In this thought-provoking exploration of biblical principles, Tyler McHart challenges listeners to embrace faithfulness over success and consistency over spectacular outcomes.
The journey begins with an examination of Proverbs 22:29 and a startling revelation: the word "success" appears only once in scripture, while "faithful" is mentioned at least 18 times in the Old Testament alone. This disparity reveals God's priorities and metrics for evaluating our lives and work. Through Jesus's parables about stewardship—both the Talents (Matthew 25) and Minas (Luke 19)—we discover that God rewards faithful consistency rather than mere achievement.
Most striking is the realization that the reward for faithfulness isn't a comfortable retirement but greater responsibility. "I will put you in charge of ten cities," the master tells the faithful servant. This kingdom principle transforms how we approach our daily responsibilities, family life, and business endeavors. Success follows faithfulness when we're consistent in small things.
Tyler shares personal examples from parenting his son, highlighting that faithfulness begins with simply showing up—to your Bible reading, prayer time, work commitments, and family responsibilities. Just showing up creates the possibility for something good to happen, while not showing up guarantees nothing will.
Ready to shift your focus from chasing success to cultivating faithfulness? This episode will transform how you approach your daily disciplines and long-term goals. Share this message with someone who needs this perspective shift today.
Philippians 2:12 Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling,
Philippians 4:11 I am not saying this out of need, for I have learned to be content regardless of my circumstances. I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.
John 14:12 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.
Genesis 3:8-11 8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. 9 But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”
10 He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”
11 And he said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?”
The lovers of God who chase after righteousness will find all their dreams come true: an abundant life drenched with favor and a fountain that overflows with satisfaction.
“and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written: “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”” Luke 4:17-19 NIV https://bible.com/bible/111/luk.4.17-19.NIV
Ever wondered why some Christians seem to rise above every challenge while others struggle to move forward? The difference might be simpler than you think.
Drawing from an unexpected source—a college baseball pitcher in the World Series spotlight—this episode reveals the hidden power of intentional self-talk that can transform your Christian walk. Just as that young athlete programmed himself for victory before he ever stepped onto the championship mound, we too must program our minds with God's promises before facing life's challenges.
Most believers fall into the trap of "Sunday Christianity," never taking the time to truly internalize Scripture. But what if five minutes of daily declaration could completely rewire your thought patterns? I share practical examples from Charles Capps' transformative book "God's Creative Power" that show exactly how to personalize Scripture and speak it over your life. These aren't just positive affirmations—they're powerful spiritual tools based on God's unchanging Word.
Your mind is like a garden requiring daily attention—watering, pruning, and protecting from weeds of doubt and fear. When negative thoughts inevitably arise (as they recently did for me after returning from vacation), I demonstrate the exact process I use to take those thoughts captive and replace them with truth. This isn't theory—it's battle-tested wisdom from decades of marketplace ministry.

“Here are kingdom revelations, words to live by, and words of wisdom given to empower you to reign in life, written as proverbs by Israel’s King Solomon, David’s son.” Proverbs 1:1 TPT https://bible.com/bible/1849/pro.1.1.TPT
A chance YouTube video about a 96-year-old pastor who had read the Bible over 1,200 times sparked my curiosity and challenge: could I read the entire Bible in just 90 days? Not only did I complete this challenge once, but I've just finished my second consecutive 90-day reading plan—essentially consuming the entire Scripture twice in six months.
This accelerated approach to Bible reading revealed something profound that my previous annual reading plans never could. Rather than examining small portions of Scripture in isolation, reading large chunks daily allowed me to step back and see God's grand narrative unfold like viewing an entire painting instead of focusing on a two-inch corner. The chronological arrangement provided crucial context, especially when moving between historical books and prophetic writings. Witnessing Paul's missionary journeys in Acts alongside his epistles brought new depth to familiar passages.
My method combined visual reading with audio input—following along in my physical Bible while listening through earbuds—which required 30-45 minutes of daily commitment. The dual-input approach helped maintain focus and improved retention. Throughout this experience, God's persistent faithfulness became unmistakably clear, even through the sometimes-depressing sections of judgment found in the prophetic books.
Despite the tremendous benefits, I'm now feeling led to slow down again. The rapid pace left little time for meditation, journaling, and allowing specific passages to deeply penetrate my heart. There's a balance to be found between seeing Scripture's grand narrative and camping out in individual chapters where the Holy Spirit can speak personally.
Have you ever read through the entire Bible? Whether you choose a 90-day sprint or a more measured pace, I challenge you to experience the fullness of God's Word in 2024. If this approach intrigues you, consider joining me in the YouVersion Bible app where chronological reading plans make this journey accessible to everyone. Let me know how your Bible reading journey is going—I'd love to hear what God is showing you through His Word!
