Animalia Fake! - Insects
Episode 19
vendredi 1 mai 2026 • Duration 28:20
______________________
Kingdom: Animalia - A Zoology Podcast for Kids is back with its game show, Animalia Fake! Every episode—with your host, Devon, and announcers, Chet and Cap—there are THREE rounds, each with FOUR outrageous animal facts; ONE of those facts is so outrageous it’s an Animalia Fake (it’s not true), and you have to guess which it is!
What’s that buzzing? Aah! Shoo! Why are there so many flies? I guess it’s because this episode’s category is insects. Insects make up the majority of all species (that’s all life on Earth, not just animals!), and they’re found on every continent. So can you figure out which facts about them aren’t true? Play along and find out! You can keep score at home on a piece of paper or with the official scoresheet, which you can use online or print with the link below.

Domestic Pigeons & Doves // Palomacy’s Cynthia Bardouka-Large (Podcasthon 2026)
Episode 18
vendredi 20 mars 2026 • Duration 15:49
______________________
Why should you care about pigeons and doves? Do they make good pets? Should you feed city pigeons? Is there such a thing as a pigeon genie? Today, on KA’s Podcasthon 2026 special, Devon, Chet, and Cap bring on Cynthia Bardouka-Large, co-director of Palomacy Pigeon & Dove Adoptions, to talk all about domestic pigeons and doves, domesticated members of the family Columbidae.
This episode is our contribution to Podcasthon, a week-long event that podcasters take part in by releasing episodes highlighting charities and nonprofits. Palomacy is a nonprofit rescue based in Northern California that cares for lost and injured domestic pigeons and doves. I encourage you to donate or ask your parent/guardian to donate with the link below if you can! Palomacy is funded by donations, and they do really great work. (If you do, please feel free to email me at animals@kapods.org! I’d love to hear that I’m making an impact.)
Note: I do not personally benefit from any donations. This is purely a cause that I believe in.

BONUS: Update on New Episodes + Standup With Chet
lundi 11 mars 2024 • Duration 09:58
______________________
Sorry, you have to wait a little longer for the next episodes. It’s taken extra time because we’re making a miniseries for the animal you got the riddle for, and one of them was an interview; also, we’ve updated the cover art and the website. Also homework.
Update: The miniseries has been postponed for our annual April Fools’ special!
While you wait for the next episode, listen to Chet tell you three animal jokes to pass the time. Enjoy!
