Parents and teachers, do you ever feel like you need a friendly voice offering realistic, trustworthy advice without making you feel like you have to have all the answers? That's exactly why I'm here.

I'm Katie Plunkett, M.A.T., a veteran educator, author, and founder of Kid Talk (@kidtalk.co). I believe the way we talk to our kids truly matters, and the best way to learn effective communication practices is by discussing them and learning from each other.

In each episode, I chat with experts and fellow parents and teachers about everything from managing screen time and promoting body positivity to navigating tricky teen talks and taming tantrums. Every episode is packed with practical tips, effective strategies, and a lot of heart to make your role less overwhelming and a lot more joyful.
