Susannah Fuller and David Gass tag team today’s show. David is still awe struck over the scenes at the USL 2 National Final in Vermont. The Committee mark the occasion by welcoming Vermont Green FC co-founder Patrick Infurna to the show to discuss the gravity of the victory, getting a call from U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders and his lack of sleep since the Final. Keeping with theme of building a club at the local level, Peter Wilt joins as the guest for the Wisconsin portion of 50 States of Soccer. Peter revisits his work across U.S. Soccer, gives his takes on Wisconsin’s hallowed grounds in great detail and its best bars (with a beer on hand as we recorded this) and a new question for all guests called "Hear Me Out." We end with a preview of our first Happy Hour this coming Thursday.

Our first Happy Hour! With 50 States of Soccer: Wisconsin in full swing, The Committee is joined by Green Bay, Wisconsin soccer legend Jay DeMerit. The former USMNT defender recaps his past career from youth soccer to playing abroad as he found his own path to the Premier League. His Hallowed Grounds and Five-a-Side selections to finish the week of Wisconsin out.

Susannah and David are joined for the first time by Committee member and San Jose Earthquakes midfielder Mark-Anthony Kaye to co-host today’s show. The Committee roll into 50 Days of Soccer with the Rocky Mountain state of Colorado up next. For the occasion, USMNT and Colorado Rapids legend Marcelo Balboa joins to talk about his upcoming number retirement, the people who were crucial to his career, the current state of the USMNT and his love for Rapid Man, the divisive mascot of the Rapids. Introducing our “Touchline Tailor” segment, Susannah presents her Best and Worst dressed managers of the MLS season so far. You’ve heard of Yanks Abroad? Welcome to our CANKS ABROAD segment as we talk about Canadian MNT players abroad with Mark. (We ALSO do a Yanks Abroad check-in.)
