Eugene’s trying (and failing) to quit her, Dongmae’s collecting grudges like Pokémon, and Hui-seong is somehow the most charming man alive. We’ve got palanquin drama, rickshaw assassinations, stolen gold, opium-withdrawal interrogations, rooftop chases, and a petty tram-ticket monopoly just for romance.
