In this episode of Kathy's Kids, join Didi Adams as she faces her dreaded safety and first aid class. Reluctance turns into a valuable life lesson as Didi's parents emphasize the importance of being prepared.

 Didi and her friends find themselves in the middle of a baseball game, completely unaware of the approaching thunderstorm. When lightning strikes nearby, panic sets in, but Didi steps up to the plate, using knowledge gained from her safety class to guide her friends through the storm's dangers.

Listen to this heart-pounding episode as Didi's quick thinking and newfound wisdom save the day and teach us all the importance of being prepared, even when we least expect it.

Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea and God, with a terrific east wind all night long, made the sea go back. He made the sea dry ground. The seawaters split. The Israelites walked through the sea on dry ground with the waters a wall to the right and to the left. The Egyptians came after them in full pursuit, every horse and chariot and driver of Pharaoh racing into the middle of the sea. It was now the morning watch. God looked down from the Pillar of Fire and Cloud on the Egyptian army and threw them into a panic. He clogged the wheels of their chariots; they were stuck in the mud. The Egyptians said, “Run from Israel! God is fighting on their side and against Egypt!” God said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the sea and the waters will come back over the Egyptians, over their chariots, over their horsemen.”

When you have something bad or unfortunate happen and you are trying to figure out how to fix it or get out of the predicament, what do you do first? Do you try and figure it out on your own or do you stop and pray for God to help you figure out what to do first?
