JKS 41 To Tell & Kiss 

A couple of discussions on STI education, disclosure & oral herpes.

I have to be honest, this was a tough one to release in that, true to the off the cuff, diary nature of our show, there are details and wording I wish we had included or done better.
I did my best to address some of these in the intro and addendum.

On the fun side...we compare our podcast to bratwurst & took some poles...oops, polls, and even a bit about a wishful STI prevention method thanks to Gilligan's Island.

First we discuss whether people should do more research about STIs when they get into the LS. I realize now that we use a lot of jargon that newer people may not understand.We also talk about how we wind up discussing our experience with complete strangers.
In the second half, we share a kiss at a party that opens up a new challenge and exposes feelings of hypocrisy.

We kick off our series of recollections from Naughty in New Orleans 2019 with an unintentional short list of some of our failures & letdowns. This was not our first NIN but this time we went as podcasters so it was very different for us, yet the same. This time we go on another long road trip & share our experience going to our first big hotel swinger party. Buried in the backyard. recorded over 2 years ago, 2 weeks before our trip to PCAP Palm Springs.If you hate cringy, raw, emotional podcasts, definitely skip this one.I don't cry in this one but there is a lot of processing. Part 1We decided to get a second STI test done after not being able to get answers after a Dr appointment and were waiting to discuss results the following week.Then Dr wasn't able to see us IRL until a whole week after our phone diagnosis.
Part 2Monday after the dr office test, we were told the diagnosis before our second test results by STDcheck.com came in and took steps to confirm diagnosis. 
Part 3While waiting to see the DR IRL friday, and after calling all our LS friends, the results from STDCheck came in NEGATIVE! When we saw the DR. she said the test she ran was misinterpreted & the sores she had were probably caused by something else but she didn't know what for sure.It turns out you had foliculitis and Myrsa most likely from a waxing appointmnt.
We learned a lot from that experience.

We share our experience attempting to get some "post infection" action at a New Years Eve house party, a jaw dropping revelation by Mrs. Sting and a challenge to our listeners.

Yay our 10th episode! This month we go to a pub crawl, which brings up a new kind of encounter and a question about consent. We visit the doctor and look forward to a brighter tomorrow.
