| Rolling Into Night City: The First Pre-Release and Start of Turn | 13 Oct 2026 | 00:23:56 | |
The first full episode of Judge Node Podcast is here. With Cyberpunk TCG's first pre-release weekend just around the corner, I take a look at what players can expect from their first sealed event, including deckbuilding rules, tournament structure, and a few things worth knowing before heading to your local game store. I also touch on the latest Organized Play news - Holophone, the new narrative-driven experience designed to connect players to an evolving story in Night City. Finally, we launch the first Listener Question segment. Using a real game situation involving Hanako Arasaka, Daughter of the Emperor, we explore how start-of-turn effects and timing work in Cyberpunk TCG, and why understanding turn structure matters. As always, I don't have all the answers. The judge program is still taking shape, policy documents are still being released, and we're all learning more about the game every week. My goal is to learn alongside the community, share insights as they emerge, and help connect players interested in rules, organized play, and the future of judging in Cyberpunk TCG. Have a rules question, card interaction, or tournament scenario you'd like discussed? Send it in. Future episodes may feature your question in the listener questions segment. Plug into the network. | Plugging Into the Network - Why Judge Node Exists | 30 Sep 2026 | 00:10:16 | |
Every journey starts somewhere. In the pilot episode of Judge Node Podcast, I introduce myself and share why I'm excited about the future of judging in Cyberpunk TCG. I'm fascinated by the opportunity to watch a brand-new judge program and organized play ecosystem develop from the ground up. With Comprehensive Rules and Tournament Rules already available, but many aspects of organized play and the future judge program still taking shape, this podcast aims to follow that journey from the very beginning. I'll try to explore rules, tournament operations, policy development, judge education, and the growth of the Cyberpunk TCG community as new information becomes available. I don't have all the answers and that's part of the reason this podcast exists. My goal is to learn alongside the community, share insights as they emerge. Try to help connecting people, ideas, and information as the game evolves. Have a rules question? A tournament scenario you'd like discussed? Questions about the future judge program? Send them in. Future episodes may feature a dedicated Listener Questions segment. As organized play takes shape, I'll do my best to bring the right people onto the show to help answer the community's biggest questions. I don't know exactly what the Cyberpunk Judge Program will become. But I'd like this podcast to document that journey from day one. Plug into the network. Related links:
