1971 Habilitation (zum Begriff des Heiligen) und Berufung an die Philosophisch-Theologische Hochschule Sankt Georgen, Frankfurt/M. Zugleich Gastprofessor an der Hochschule für Philosophie, München. Vortragstätigkeit, in der Erwachsenen-, Lehrer- und Priesterfortbildung. Seit 1964 verheiratet; Vater zweier Söhne.
