248 | The Soft Season: Who You Became in 2025 + Setting the Energy for 202626 Dec 202500:33:48

Are you rushing into your 2026 jewelry business goals… without stopping to honor who you became in 2025?

In this episode, I walk you through a gentle year-end reflection ritual to help you celebrate your growth, release what you've outgrown, and step into the next-level jewelry CEO you're meant to be. We look honestly at how you ran your business this year, where your systems and strategy truly supported you (or didn't), and the identities you're still carrying that are quietly keeping you small. I'll guide you through three powerful journal prompts to get clear on what actually worked, what you want more of, and what it's time to lovingly let go of – from underpricing and perfectionism to the "starving artist" story. If you're ready for 2026 to be the year your jewelry business feels more intentional, profitable, and supported, this episode will help you step into that version of yourself on purpose.

What You Will Learn in this Episode:

  1. Why reflecting on who you became in 2025 is the key to jewelry business growth in 2026
  2. How to identify what actually worked in your jewelry business (beyond just revenue)
  3. Which beliefs, identities, and habits you quietly outgrew this year
  4. How to step into your 2026 jewelry CEO identity with structure, support, and strategy

Topics Discussed:

  • Using the "quiet week" between Christmas and New Year's with intention
  • Three powerful reflection questions for jewelry business owners
  • Letting go of underpricing, perfectionism, and "starving artist" stories
  • Identity, nervous system safety, and feeling worthy of growth

238 | Stop Calling It a Hobby: Claim Your CEO Identity with Vera Milan Gervais23 Oct 202500:56:10

Are you shrinking your jewelry business with the words you wear, on your labels and in your mind?

In this episode, I sit down with author and TEDx speaker Vera Milan Gervais to explore how language, identity, and even earrings shape confidence, pricing, and sales for jewelry business owners. Vera's powerful story, owning her identity, starting a business over a weekend, and collecting earrings that anchor memories, shows why mindset must come before strategy. We unpack how to swap self-limiting labels ("hobby," "just starting") for empowering ones ("designer," "CEO"), why conversation-starting pieces sell, and how tiny brave actions rebuild self-trust.

If you've ever downplayed your work or waited for permission to go "all in," this episode will help you claim your brand voice, design from values, and market the emotion your jewelry delivers.

What You Will Learn in this Episode:

  1. How the words you use become labels that shape buyer perception and pricing power
  2. A practical way to reframe "hobby energy" into confident CEO identity
  3. Why jewelry sells when it carries story, emotion, and connection
  4. Tiny habits to rebuild self-trust and momentum in your business

Topics Discussed:

  • Language as brand label & mindset
  • Earrings as memory, story & identity
  • From safe "hobby" to CEO energy
  • Confidence via small, repeatable actions
  • Hiring help at home to grow faster
  • Starting before you feel ready

143 | How to break the cycle of attracting narcissists into your life as a jewelry designer02 May 202400:48:36

This episode was a bit of a rollercoaster to record, but I genuinely believe it's a crucial one. Unfortunatly we had some sound glitches recording this one, but I decided to go ahead and hit publish.  Over the years, I've noticed a recurring pattern among jewelry business owners, designers, and artists—they often happen to be empaths. The tricky part? Many of these empaths have boundaries as flexible as a gymnast, unknowingly drawing individuals with narcissistic traits into their orbit.

Navigating this dynamic can be like trying to see through fog; it's tough. The impact, though, is real—it messes with your energy and influences how you show up in the business world.

So, buckle up for a deep dive into the intricate dance between empaths and narcissists, with a special lens on the vulnerability of artists, especially jewelry designers. We'll unpack different narcissistic types, explore manipulative tactics, and discuss the profound psychological toll on victims. The main takeaway? How to reclaim your power and break the cycle of attracting narcissists into your life.

P.S. Sure, we hit a few bumps in the sound department, but I decided to roll with it and share this episode anyway. It's too important not to.

Topics Discussed:

  • Introduction to Narcissists and Empaths in the Artistic Community
  • Different Types of Narcissism: Overt and Covert
  • Gaslighting and Its Psychological Impact
  • ADHD and Narcissistic Relationships
  • The Narcissist's Desire for Control
  • Traits and Behaviors of Narcissists
  • Breadcrumbing and Future Faking Tactics
  • The Victimhood Strategy Employed by Narcissists
  • Coping with Narcissistic Relationships and Recognizing Cognitive Dissonance
  • The Role and Responsibility of Empaths
  • Setting Empathic Boundaries for Protection
  • Recognizing Red Flags in Relationships
  • Prioritizing Empathic Self-Care
  • Empaths and Empowerment: Navigating Relationships Wisely
  • Breaking the Cycle of Attracting Narcissists
