As Adam and Guy tried to figure out when the heck Guy had sprouted pointy ears, Hobbits with a reservation for Underhill arrived. Two rangers from across the room jumped up and one of them was Del! Earlier, at Bombadil’s house, Goldberry had told Del about a hobbit who’s supposed to destroy something but doesn’t have the protection he needs. Del was tasked with finding a ranger who can help and then follow her instincts to the hobbit. So, she departed, slightly drunk, and headed east, and eventually happened upon a hobbit being threatened at sword-point by a man demanding if he has the ring. Will Del’s close-up magic save the day?

After they got weird shirts from Kemmet from the Forg, the troupe made their way to The Prancing Pony inn. They learned that they hobbits were expected at the inn the following night, but in the meantime, they had a show to put on. The proprietor’s introduction of Wet Change managed to turn the crowd against them before they’d even started, but they fumbled their way through some improv games and eventually won over their audience. Tyler went to bed early, but Guy was soon approached by a strange figure who mistook him for an elf he knew, and Adam suddenly noticed that Guy had pointed ears. Could this be a positive development?

Welcome back to Jesters of-- MIDDLE-EARTH?? It seems that Ryan’s been eaten by an owl, a migratory owl no less, so while we wait for that pesky bird to return with our DM in a few months’ time, Tom McGee will be taking Wet Change back in time to the beginning of their journey. They’ll answer the question of what if—instead of falling into Ravenloft—the troupe fell into an alternate universe, one with less halflings and more hobbits, less bone horses and more Prancing Pony’s, less dark lords and more…THE Dark Lord. Can Wet Change survive Wargs, Ringwraiths, and a treacherous journey across Middle-earth?

With Tyler still missing, the rest of Wet Change entered a pastoral town, where the townsfolk were waiting to see whose side the General would choose in an upcoming battle. The description of the General just so happened to match Tyler. The troupe were asked to retrieve an important icon for the battle, and so Shadow Nemesis, New Rogue, and the Doctor Deputy secured cockatrices to ride on their quest, and Del learned that ghosts were conspicuously absent from this realm. Not unexpectedly, Shadow Nemesis offended a blacksmith and as things got heated, he pulled his gun and shot. Will Wet Change ever get a moment’s peace?

As Tyler clung to a rapidly fading Guy Bradford, the rest of Wet Change—including New Rogue—fell into the mist. Shadow Nemesis was attacked by yet another member of the Nutter family, but the troupe defeated him and found themselves in the picturesque woods of a new domain. Del received a text from her friend Laura and discovered that they’d been gone for a year in earth-time, they came upon a suffering orc and realized they needed to start solving this domain’s mysteries, and New Rogue suggested leaving a sign for Tyler. But with the rest of Wet Change venturing into an unknown land, will Tyler ever find them again?

Amidst the strangeness that seemed to be enticing them to stay in what was formerly Denton Arthur’s realm, the troupe agreed they should leave for the next domain as soon as possible. Guy, however, was convinced that entering the mists would mean certain death, so he abruptly started running away. Tyler chased after him, but it was Shadow Nemesis who stopped him by shooting and mortally wounding him. As strange angelic creatures closed in, Del finally accepted a pact with Lucretia and gained demonic powers. Wet Change narrowly escaped and entered the mists once more, but will they all emerge unscathed this time?

Wet Change is on the hunt for New Rogue. The troupe finally gained the upper hand against the Dark Lord! New Rogue dealt a strong blow against Denton Arthur, Shadow Nemesis cut off one of his arms, and Del summoned more ghosts to prevent him from fighting back. Tyler called out to remind everyone that New Rogue—as champion of this realm—had to be the one to destroy Denton, but Shadow Nemesis wanted a second Dark Lordship and made a grab for the gun to deal the final blow himself. Tyler, Del, and New Rogue have all tried to reason with Shadow Nemesis and convince him to stand down, but will he make the decision that saves his friends?

The troupe continued their desperate battle with Denton Arthur. As the Dark Lord used their own weapons against them, New Rogue was the first to make it past the hole in the floor that had plagued them, Shadow Nemesis summoned some rats, which miraculously attacked Denton’s wife in concert with Del’s shrieking ghosts, Tyler finally broke the latch and brought down the barrier that had been protecting Denton, and Del retrieved her Reality Blade and New Rogue’s hammer to arm them once again. But with New Rogue having just fallen under a barrage of magic missiles, is it possible that all of Wet Change will make it out alive?
