I’m in the business of helping to hire people and with so many millions of unemployed people and a ton of jobs available, I have to press on the question…… What’s the deal and why are so many employers struggling to find talent?
If you are a manager or business owner, it’s been tough to stay open because you can’t seem to get applications no matter what you do. Everyone is posting "Now Hiring" Signs. Employers are offering things they have never had to before such as: sign-on bonuses, conducting interviews on the spot, providing daily pay, benefits, free lunch, and even free transportation. Employers are doing everything they can to attract talent.
This episode is just a conversation starter. A discussion on how and why we got to this point. Stay tuned for the next episode where we will go into more detail on a few ideas and best practices most companies are doing now to fight the war to stay open and bring people back to work.
