Jan Talk | Perfectionism | Barrier Buster28 mai 202500:27:45

It’s only one word – but it packs a wallop…and can erode confidence, create anxiety, inhibit experimentation, block creativity and sap joy.  The evil word?

Perfectionism!

Though Jan would never be an advocate for mediocrity, she believes that our constant preoccupation and obsession with “perfect” gets in the way of our happiness, joy, learning and growth.

Are you ready to join Jan and let go of “perfecto”’?

In this episode you’ll:

  • Learn the difference between using your high standards of excellence as inspiring drivers instead of debilitating punishers
  • Learn Jan’s Football Field Principle to clearly define your life “touchdowns”
  • Understand how your attachment to “perfect” negatively impacts you and those around you
  • Reframe your vision of self from a limiting “fixed” one to a dynamic, growth paradigm that energizes your life journey

Jan Talk | Limiting Beliefs | Barrier Buster16 mai 202500:30:29

What do you hold yourself back from experiencing in your life because of a belief that it’s not possible for you?   Do the words “I’m not smart/coordinated/talented/enough” ever trip off your lips?  Or how about “I could never do that, that’s out of reach for me” etc.

Our limiting beliefs get in the way of our living our greatest possibilities.

In this episode you’ll:

  • Shed a light on the limiting beliefs that hold you back
  • Bust those beliefs apart with the “truth meter”
  • Reframe those beliefs into empowering possibilities

Jan will challenge your assumptions, bust your old self-limiting paradigm wide open, expand your thinking and you’ll feel the freedom that comes as you start to realize “Yes, I can!”

Jan Talk | Inner Critic | Barrier Buster07 mai 202500:30:37

What does your Inner Critic say to you? Does that voice in your head nag, berate, and work AGAINST you rather than FOR you?

What if you could turn your negative Inner Critic into a helpful Inner Coach – a wise voice that could help you move forward rather than hold you back?

If you want to know:

  • why your inner critic yammers on (really, there is a good reason!)
  • how to turn your negative inner critic into your helpful inner Coach
  • how to positively transform your negative self-talk and manage your mental interference
  • how to get rid of the bad habit of self-criticism

Jan’s here to help you create a new thinking paradigm – one that supports and inspires rather than tears down and deflates. This episode will get you and your Inner Voice working on the same team!

Jan Talk | Self-Judgment | Barrier Buster28 avr. 202500:27:19

Jan tackles one of the thorniest of our mental barriers to success – Self-Judgment. With a dead easy reframe of self-judgment to self-assessment, Jan gives you practical tools to objectively self-evaluate to eliminate the negative labeling of your value or worth. You’ll feel your world lighten up, opening the door to your possibilities.

How do you feel when your self-judgment comes in?  I bet if I could hear your responses right now, I’d hear things like “oh my self-judgment makes me feel flawed, stupid and “less than”. Maybe you’d simply say that self-judgment makes you doubt yourself and lose confidence. I think we can all agree that self-judgment, and the resulting self-criticism does not make us feel better. In fact, it’s usually the opposite, like a toxin seeping into our mind and body.  Negative self-judgment weighs us down. It limits us, it causes stress, anxiety and worse.
