PRINCESS is a Progressive Rock power trio that fuses old-school grit with new-school precision. Led by seasoned guitarist Mat Brennan and joined by the educated talents of drummer Ty MacEachern and bassist Tanner MacDonald — two young musicians with depth far beyond their years — PRINCESS strikes a rare balance between raw expression and studied control.

Their sound is bold, theatrical, and deeply musical — anchored by comfortably groovy arrangements, rich textures, and emotionally charged performances. The band’s Neo-Mystic Rock atmosphere mirrors their music: elegant, mysterious, with a little vulnerability.

Our guest this week is Mitchell MacDonald, a singer-songwriter from the beautiful Garden of Eden in Pictou County. Mitchell got his start playing classic country at kitchen parties with his grandfather, and his love for music has only grown since. Inspired by artists like Garth Brooks, Randy Travis, Zach Bryan, and Tyler Childers, his songs are heartfelt, honest, and rooted in real life. A devoted dad and lifelong storyteller, Mitchell continues to carve his own path—one song at a time.
