In this process, we tend to lose friendships and relationships which further fuels suffering. It is really painful and unsettling sometimes. After relentlessly chasing material success for fifteen years in the corporate software industry, Jagjot felt tired and broken. Despite a well-paying job, he was depressed and lonely. Though he was doing well in his career, there was no sense of fulfillment or joy. The happiness and glory of a booming IT industry were nowhere to be found. It was then that he decided to leave his corporate job and explore the spiritual path. And after a few years of seeking, he discovered something incredible. His spiritual awakening was sudden and intense, and he realized that what he sought was never apart from him. He learned that all this time he was living in an illusion of separation, which was the cause of his pain and suffering. When the illusion disappeared, the Wholeness revealed itself, and it broke the last remains of what was perceived as the "me" in Jagjot. After the awakening, Jagjot read the teachings of spiritual masters like Ramana Maharshi, Nisargadatta Maharaj, Jiddu Krishnamurthi, and last but not least, Ramesh Balsekar. The teachings of these great masters helped in deepening his understanding of the ONE non-dual truth. Jagjot does not consider himself to be a spiritual teacher, guru, or healer. He thinks of himself as a pointer in consciousness that seeks solace in delivering the message of peace and harmony to others. His only objective is to help others discover the same peace or awareness that he experienced through personal insights.
