Will our hosts make it in time for when Good Charlotte takes the stage? Or will they get stuck dancing with the reject from "Footloose?" | s1e5 -- "Not Another Teen Movie," Part 1 | 23 Apr 2025 | 01:26:57
Teenager focused movies had more or less been in style since the mid-1950s, but truly exploded into popularity in the 1980s, thanks to films like "The Breakfast Club," "Back to the Future," "Fast Times at Ridgemont High," and more. This trend continued well into the 90s, until a couple of writers got sick of "She's All That," "Save the Last Dance," "Ten Things I Hate About You," and more, and decided to give the teen film genre the skewering it richly deserved. But the question we have is... Is "Not Another Teen Movie" really that bad? Join Daniel, returning guest Panda, and newcomer Tall Amanda as they analyze the tropes, shenanigans, and non-stop gags in Chris Evans' debut film, "Not Another Teen Movie!" Will they be able to answer the question, or will they be placed in Saturday detention by Principal Vernon? ================= The “It’s Not That Bad” podcast is a production of Evil Breakfast Studios, based out of Pittsburgh, PA. | s1e17 -- "Popeye," Part One | 07 Jan 2026 | 01:26:21
Just a quick note before we get into it: I sincerely apologize for the delay between episodes. I'd caught pneumonia shortly after recording this two-parter, which took me down hard. I'm still battling the effects of it, which has resulted in a persistent, nagging cough. That, combined with a new day job, delayed editing, release, and recording new episodes. So, in essence, this and the next release will be considered our season one finale. New episodes will hopefully be recorded in a few weeks, once my health is back to normal(ish), or I at least kick this cough. With that out of the way, on with the show! =============== Ahoy there, landlubbers!
