That's right! Casey and Cody are back with a short little update about the Gears of War: E-Day announcement at the X-Box Showcase! Listen as they talk about where they've been and what's in store for the future! Is this enough exclamation points!!!!?

Just a heads up, we had a bit of a hardware failure in this episode, and the audio is a little scratchy and static-y in some places. It doesn't last too long, so we hope it doesn't ruin your enjoyment of the episode. Saying that this episode we go back to the start, and by that we mean the remaster of the start of the series with Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. Where we start our journey on the planet Sera and find out if the extra levels that were added in the original PC port of the game were really worth playing through. (They were not). Enjoy!

Cody traveled the multiverse through various means, and has returned with the knowledge of the Gears of War TV show that aired in May of 2022. (Any resemblance to the television program "Halo" of Paramount+ is pure coincidence brought about by the infinite randomness of the multiverse.

Casey and Cody dive into the black sheep of the Gears franchise, Gears of War: Judgement. Do they have anything to say about the forgotten entry in the franchise? You're just going to have to listen and find out! But we know one thing for sure, it's go time baby!

Casey and Cody revisit the beginning of the new Gears trilogy with Gears of War 4. Will they suffer through the sound of silence as they face the new threat from the swarm? Or will they somehow make the entire conversation about random Halo development trivia, and bring up every single AAA gaming franchise from Mass Effect to Borderlands, with a splash of Watch Dogs and Dead Space to really spice things up. Casey and Cody begin tackling the task of replaying and retrospective-ing the Gears of War franchise. Starting with Gears of War 3, the third game in the series, and the end of the first trilogy. Why do they start half way through the series, you may ask? Well you're just going to have to listen to their explanation as to why. 

Casey begins the now famous "Hammerburst Minute", and shares his love-affair with Baird. Cody is convinced that the entire plot of Gears of War 3 was plagiarized from a Pokémon game only he has heard of, and shares some details of Gear of War 3's development he learned in about in a book, and there's a lot more involvement from Jimmy Fallon than you would be expecting.
