Chad Owens grew up on Oahu and was played professional Canadian football wide receiver. He attended Roosevelt High School before graduating from the University of Hawai’i. Owens played for the University of Hawaii’s Rainbow Warriors as a wide receiver from 2001-2004 where he still holds the record as Hawaii’s all-time yardage leader. In 2010 Owens was signed as a receiver for The Toronto Argonauts and played six seasons with them, breaking records for all-purpose yards and winning the CFL Most Outstanding Player Award in 2012 as well as rated the best player in the league on the TSN Top 50 players. Kamasami Kong began his radio career in 1965 at the age of 15 in Ohio on WMOH. He moved to Hawaii and became a household name in the late ’70s throughout the 1980s as Hawaii’s premier DJ. Kong was the most listened to broadcaster on KIKI-FM and worked alongside Michael W. Perry on KKUA. He also hosted a very popular High School talent competition called “Brown Bags to Stardom” and was the original host of the popular TV show “Breakin’ Hawaii.” He later went on to do radio in Asia with shows in Taiwan, Osaka, Yokohama, and is currently broadcasting in Tokyo.

This super waterman grew up on the North Shore of O’ahu and started surfing at the age of two. At 18, he caught the world’s biggest wave- a 66 footer- at the infamous Jaws on Maui and took the surfing world by storm winning the 2003 Billabong XXL Global Big Wave Award. In 2007 he won the O’Neill World Cup and in 2015 he was crowned the Big Wave World Champion. He is currently sponsored by RVCA, Oakley, and Monster Energy Drink. All the while, he learned to play the ukulele and in 2013 released his debut album, Sound Wave. You might have even seen him doing some acting stunts on Hawaii 5-0, Six Days in Paradise, Blue Crush and Pipeline.
