It doesn't take much to realize how blessed we are as Muslims. Allah SWT has allowed us to have a direct and open relationship with Him 24/7, with absolutely no middle-man in between. As Muslims, we have two main ways of communicating with Allah SWT. The first way is through our five daily prayers, which are an obligation upon us. The second way of communicating with Allah is, by making dua (supplication). In contrast to prayer, there is no fixed time or place for making dua. Wudu is not obligatory for dua. We don't even need to have wudu to make dua. We are allowed to put our hands up and ask Allah for what we need - at any time and any place. This is a huge mercy from Allah SWT.

To Heraclius the Arabs were a backward people living in a desert wasteland. The Arabs he knew were an unsophisticated lot in constant conflict with each other, just barely eking out an existence under the unforgiving desert sun. The Arabs were not a military threat let alone a military power they were just a thorn in his side, But united for the first time under the banner of Islam, the Arabs unleashed a gale force wind that would sweep across the Middle East and blow as far East as China and West across North Africa.

The first people to enter, their faces will be glowing like the full moon. The next people will have faces shining like the stars. People will never have to use the restroom, spit, blow their noses. Their combs will be made out of gold. Their sweat will smell like musk. They will be in the physical form of Adam (PBUH)…60 feet tall. They will never disagree with one another, they will never hate one another.

There is a matrix that is around us, there’s a matrix on the good side and there’s matrix on the bad side, there’s a way of looking at the world, which makes you a true Muslim, and one that can see with the help of Allah SWT, the prophet S said, beware of the insight and the ability of a believer having an inner look at thing.

According to Imam Al-Ghazali, who wrote in his Mukhashfa al-Qulub, Umar ibn Al-Khattab (RA) was asked why the day of ’Ashura was considered so noble. Umar (RA) listed a few events which had taken place on ’Ashura, including Allah, who created the skies and earth on this day, along with the Preserved Tablet. Allah created Angel Jibril (as). Allah created Adam (as) and Hawwa (as). Allah created Jannah. Allah enabled Adam (as) to live in Jannah. The first rain to fall on earth was on ’Ashura. Therefore, since before the beginning of human history, ’Ashura has been filled with significant events.

The prophet said, “Our Lord, the Blessed, the Superior, comes every night down on the nearest Heaven to us when the last third of the night remains, saying: “Is there anyone to invoke Me, so that I may respond to invocation? Is there anyone to ask Me, so that I may grant him his request? Is there anyone seeking My forgiveness, so that I may forgive him?” [Bukhari].

Everything in this universe is a definite proof of the existence of a Creator [Allah] who created it. Those who have sound intellect and natural disposition will understand this fully. Those who reject the existence of Allah do so because they seek tangible proofs which they can perceive through their senses. They contradict themselves, for they believe in intangible things within this universe by observing their signs and effects.

This story is about Luqman Ibn Anqa Ibn Sadun, who was from among the people of Aylah, He was a pious man who exerted himself in worship and who was blessed with wisdom. Also, it is said that he was a judge during the lifetime of prophet Dawud (AS). And, Allah knows best.

And this is a hadith of three individuals from Bani Isra’il, these three individuals, they went out for the purpose of maintaining their family, and while they were walking, it started raining heavily, and then they said to themselves: it’s raining so hard, we can no longer continue with our journey, let us find a shelter for ourselves, so they went to this cave, see what happened next.

We relate a story of a pious man who was tricked by Satan and made him commit few major sins. The Shaitan later deceived this monk into committing Kufr, He was, what you call, a monk but he was a true Christian, who believed in the oneness of god.

This story relates to a small fishing community of Bani Isra’il, during this time, because of their persistent disobedience and stubbornness, Allah decreed many injunctions against them, one of these injunctions was the observance of the sabbath where they completely prohibited from doing any work, it meant that they were not allowed to fish on Saturdays.

A story of a man who had two gardens which produced the best of fruits, he became haughty and arrogant and told his friend, I think this will never perish, while his friend said: praise god for the bounty he has given you, one should whole-heartedly accept the advice of his compassionate brother, as in rejecting his counsellor advice there rests complete destruction and perfect ruin.

The protagonists in this story are a small number of youths, who were the sons of rulers and noblemen. They were of the elite class, and accustomed to lives of comfort and luxury. Even so, they realized that their townspeople were immersed in wrongful practices, Allah caused them to enter into a slumber in the narrow chamber of the cave, a miraculous sleep that lasted for centuries.

Their father had a garden and used to give a portion of his harvest to the poor. When he died, the children did not want to continue on that path so they decided to wake up early and pack up the harvest while the rest of the world slept to prevent the poor people from getting the harvest. One of them tried to make a point but he was shut down. See what happened next.

This video is about the great king Dhul-Qarnain, Allah says in the Qur’an: they ask you about Dhul-Qarnain, verily we established him in the earth and we gave him from everything single matter a way and a path, we eased his affair in every matter, Dhul-Qarnain was establishing justice in a society that was living in chaos and confusion until when he reached the land of the rising of the sun, he found it rising on a people to whom we had given no shelter from it.

The story of the great, pious and righteous prophet and messenger of god, prophet Uzair one time went passed a village that was destroyed, and the inhabitant of that village were no longer there, so he said to himself how would Allah revive this village and bring it back to life, Allah [S] wanted a miracle to appear in the hands of Uzair.

One day Sulaiman [as] was reviewing his army when he noted that the hoopoe bird was absent without permission. It was the job of the hoopoe bird to look for water when the army needed it, the bird had been traveling in the country of Saba and it returned and declared to Solomon: i found a woman ruling over the people, she has been given many blessings and has a mighty throne! I found her and her people worshiping the sun instead of Allah …

There was a man from among Bani Isra’il who was impotent, he had substantial wealth, and only a nephew who would inherit from him. So, his nephew slayed him and moved his body at night, placing it at the doorstep of a certain man. The next morning, the nephew cried out for revenge, and the people took up arms and almost fought each other. The wise men among them said, `Why would you harm each other, while the Messenger of Allah is still among you?' So they went to Musa and mentioned the matter to him.

Iblis was proud and arrogant and considered himself superior to Adam, since Adam was made from clay and Iblis from smokeless fire. For this act of disobedience, Allah cursed him but gave him respite until the Day of Judgment, after Iblis requested it. Iblis obtained permission from Allah and vowed that he would use this time to lead all human men and women astray.

The following story was narrated by Imam Ibn Al Jawzi in one of his books ('Sifat us-Safwah') and Imam Ibn An-Nu’aas in Mashari al-Ashwaq, a heart wrenching story of Abu Qudamah and the youth Muhammad.

'The living go on and the dead do not.' What an extraordinary expression and what an even stranger position to take. When somebody dies, our sorrow and tears, our weeping and mourning soon cease. The funeral rites are held and then all is forgotten. But what is happening to the dead?

Al-Isra’ Wal-Mi’raj (the Night Journey & Ascension) is a miracle second only to the revelation of the Qur’an, and it is therefore important that we don’t let this night slip by without reflecting on its lessons and its significance. The Prophet (saw) said, ‘I was then brought a white beast which is called al-Buraq [from the Arabic word barq, meaning lightning], bigger than a donkey and smaller than a mule. Its stride was as long as the eye could reach’. [Muslim].

There are nearly one thousand miracles of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) which prove his messengership. These miracles were witnessed and they have been narrated till this day by many people who are so trustworthy that it is impossible for them to lie.

And the judgement starts in a majestic scene and the angels will come in rows, when the account of man ends he goes either to Jannah or Jahannam

"Jannah"—also known as paradise or garden in Islam—is described in the Qur'an as an eternal afterlife of peace and bliss, where the faithful and righteous are rewarded. The Qur'an says the righteous will be restful in the presence of God, in "gardens beneath which rivers flow."

The prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) said: “The son of Adam will not pass away from Allah until he is asked about five things: how he lived his life, and how he utilized his youth, with what means did he earn his wealth, how did he spend his wealth, and what did he do with his knowledge.”

Prophet Muhammad [SAW] was asked many times by many people about when this Day would arrive.  The answer now, even though we have made remarkable advances in all forms of knowledge, particularly technology and science, is still the same. Allah alone knows when the hour that starts the Day of Judgement will be.

Pertaining to the arrival of the month, it is imperative that a Muslim prepares for it before hand and be reflective of all that the month carries and how one can extract the maximum blessings and mercy from it.

It is reported that Prophet Muhammad [SAW] said: ‘The better ones of you in the Days of Ignorance are the better ones of you in Islam when they understand (the religion).” These wise words of Prophet Muhammad [S] were best proved in the case of our hero Khalid ibn AI-Walid [RA].

Imam ‘Ali RA was about five years old when he was taken into the household of the Prophet Muhammad. He was one of the first to confirm the mission of the Prophet [SAW], although he was still but a youth.

Uthman bin Affan RA was the longest-serving of the Rightly-Guided Caliphs, leading the community for 12 years, we look at his history,

The life of Umar ibn Al-Khattab (R.A.) is a shining page of Islamic history, which outshines and supersedes all other histories. The history of all nations put together does not contain even a part of what his life contained of noble conduct, glory, sincerity and calling others for the sake of Allah.

Abu Bakr [Ra] was always a very close Companion of the Holy Prophet [Saw], he knew him better than any other man. He knew how honest and upright the Prophet was. Such knowledge of the Prophet made Abu Bakr [Ra] be the first man to follow the Message of Prophet Muhammad [Saw]

we look at some of the highlights of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ [peace and blessings be upon him], Muhammad ﷺ was a man that came 1400 years ago, in an environment where there was injustice, he came and brought peace and tolerance and justice not only to the seventh century arabia but to the whole world. صلى الله عليه وسلم

Muhammad Saw was born around 570 AD in Makkah, His father died before he was born and he was raised first by his grandfather and then his uncle. He belonged to a poor but respectable family of the Quraysh tribe. The family was active in Meccan politics and trade. Many of the tribes living in the Arabian Peninsula at the time were nomadic, trading goods as they crisscrossed the desert. Most tribes were polytheistic, worshipping their own set of gods. The town of Makkah was an important trading and religious centre, home to many temples and worship sites where the devoted prayed to the idols of these gods.

Incidents and situations from the Prophet's life are real life lessons to help us. Seerah is more than studying biography of a person, it is biography of our most beloved's life and the history of our religion. Michael Hart wrote a book called "The 100: A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History" and he listed Muhammad S as number one. Of course this ranking means nothing to us, we already know without a doubt that our Rasul cannot be compared to any other human. But it just shows that even Non Muslims who have truly studied the seerah admit without hesitation that his life was the best life.

The story was told by Layth ibn Abee Sulaym, a follower of the students of Ibn ‘Abbaas. The story is most likely based on things heard from the Christians and their stories about Jesus. We have no way to confirm this story as being correct or accurate, while there does not seem to be anything inappropriate in it. Thus, we are allowed to tell it as a story told by the Christians.
