Episode 179
dimanche 3 août 2025 • Duration 54:41
This week I share my chat with Emma who talks me through each of her two births. Emma opted for an epidural with her first labour giving her the much needed relief she was looking for. She then talks us through her second pregnancy which was a shock but very much wanted. At the latter stages of pregnancy she was just ready for baby to join her family and thankfully he decided he was ready too. She went into spontaneous labour and had an unmedicated birth. The days, weeks and months to follow were so tough with her son suffering from reflux. Emma revisits just how tough it was with the sleepless nights, feeling completely helpless, the constant vomiting and more. Together with her husband they attended every practitioner under the sun in sought of help. The cure was time it seems. This episode will resonate with so many of you who have tried to comfort your babies through months of colic or reflux, you certainly aren't alone.

EP167 Jessica, One Pregnancy and Birth, Induction, Very Quick Labour
Episode 167
dimanche 25 mai 2025 • Duration 01:02:20
In this week’s episode I share my chat with Jess who talks me through her one pregnancy and the birth of her little girl. We chat through discovering she was pregnant, pregnancy itself and then into her induction. We often hear of stories around inductions with women waiting days for their baby to arrive. This wasn’t the case for Jess but infact the complete opposite. After feeling the effects of the induction she was examined and discovered she was 2.5cm dilated, she felt relief hearing this. She was getting somewhere. A short time later she felt a change in her body a “drop”. Her baby was in her arms 45 mins later!

Episode 165
dimanche 4 mai 2025 • Duration 01:30:54
EP165 Nikki - One Pregnancy & Birth, Hospital Birth, PND & Anxiety
In this episode I share my chat with Nikki who talks me through her one pregnancy and the birth of her son. Nikki loved being pregnant but is also honest about her struggles with anxiety. She attended pregnancy yoga which was transformative as she used tools learned through her instructor (also teaches antenatal classes) throughout her birth. They formed a deep connection giving her that extra level of support.
Nikki revisits her son’s birth, the following hours and into the early days of motherhood. She describes feeling a shift in her mood which she was prepared for as she previously met with the mental heath team. Thankfully with the love and support of her family and therapist she navigated her way out of PND.
Thanks so much Nikki
