Iowa Basement Tapes #370 10-16-2025 GUEST: Justin Beahm of Phantom Lightkeeper17 Oct 202500:59:11

Night Listeners -

We are back and it has been a minute (two weeks in fact). I have a very special treat tonight for everyone. My long time friend, Justin Beahm, is my guest. He a brand new project called Phantom Lightkeeper that just released a debut album called Shore Ghosts. It has to be my favorite release of the year that was not put out by Captain Three Leg. Justin has merged the perfect mix of surreal soundtrack music with surf rock and believe me when I say he shreds and sends chills down your spine at the same time. When we booked this interview I had no idea how special it would be. His playlist alone carries a lot of meaning.

  1. Phantom Lightkeeper - "All Hollows Eve" / Shore Ghosts (Cedar Rapids)
  2. Leo Greco - "Beer Barrel Polka" / Little Red Wagon (Cedar Rapids)
  3. Truth and Janey - "Remember - Building Walls" / No Rest For The Wicked (Cedar Rapids)

  5. Jenny Meek - "Afraid" / Death Of Your Culture (Iowa City)
  6. Inner Lite - "Hold On To Him" (Des Moines/Marshalltown)
