Cam Clarke began his career in short pants and knee socks in 1965 as a member of TV’s “The King Family Show”. His mother is Alyce King of The King Sisters. His father is actor Robert Clarke, who starred in many of the science fiction films of the 1950s and ’60s. Since the early eighties, Cam has been working in voice-overs, particularly in animation, Voicing such characters as Leonardo in the original “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”. Cam has voiced many other characters as well including Der Fledermaus in “The Tick”, Mac on “Clifford the Big Red Dog”, He-Man in “He-Man: Masters of the Universe”, and Freddy the Ferret in “Back at the Barnyard”. He has also been the voice of Snoopy, Simba, and can currently be heard as Heath, Hoodude, and Professor Rotter in “Monster High”. He has supplied voices for numerous video games, most notably Kratos in “Tales of Symphonia”, Blood Elf in “World Of Warcraft”, and the voice of Liquid Snake for the popular “Metal Gear Solid” series wherein the sequel his character came back as an arm. Automatic Man Legend Todd Cochran Releases “From The Vault: Notes For The Future” Todd Cochran is an American pianist, composer, keyboardist, electronic musician, and conceptual artist. Early in his career he was also professionally known as Bayeté. Cochran started his career as a teenager with saxophonist John Handy. Two years later he joined vibraphonist Bobby Hutcherson’s Quartet and made his jazz recording debut composing and performing on a benchmark album for Hutcherson, “Head On” (Blue Note Records). Cochran’s first solo project “Worlds Around the Sun” became a #1 jazz album. From the mid-1970s forward Todd has experimented with and incorporated synthesizers, electronic and mixed-media concepts in his creative projects while collaborating with a wide range of artists in the genres of jazz, art rock, pop, R&B, and twenty-first-century classical. Todd released two albums on Prestige Records in 1972 and 1973. He was keyboardist, principal composer, and lead singer of Automatic Man from 1976–1978 which also featured drummer Michael Shrieve (shreeve) and guitarist Pat Thrall. He was also a member of Fuse One, a coalition of jazz musicians who released two albums on CTI Records in 1980 and 1981. The shortlist of his collaborations includes Peter Gabriel, Joan Armatrading, Maya Angelou and Stewart Copeland. Sniff 'n' the Tears formed in 1978 and after releasing their first album Fickle Heart, had a worldwide hit with Driver’s Seat, which reached 15 on the billboard chart in the USA in 1979. The band toured extensively following the success of Driver’s Seat, including a two-and-a-half-month tour of the States, and performed and recorded together until 1982. In the early nineties Driver’s Seat reached number one in Holland after being used in a car ad campaign which introduced it to a new generation and led to the band reforming for a European tour and to make another album. Hollywood films such as Boogie Nights and Anchor Man 2 as well as the series The Walking Dead have kept Driver’s Seat in the public eye, and it has become a perennial favorite loved by successive generations. Although the band members have all been engaged with other projects in the intervening years, they have stayed in touch and continued to work together. Random Elements is the latest album with the full band. In 2018, Paul Roberts and Les Davidson started performing together as an acoustic duo. The acoustic project marks a long-awaited return to live performance, and a new creative approach to Sniff ‘n’ the Tears songs old and new. PURCHASE J U M P By Sniff ‘n’ the Tears The 2020 acoustic album from the veteran British band. A couple of years ago, guitarist Les Davidson suggested to Sniff 'n' the Tears singer/songwriter Paul Roberts that they should get out and do some gigs. Only this time as a duo. The current music scene seems to be increasingly about live performance and all they would need as an acoustic duo would be their guitars; the logistics of putting a band together for anything other than a fair-sized tour being costly. The first two gigs they did were very encouraging as not only did the audience enjoy hearing the songs, they knew but feedback from people afterwards suggested they had gained new insights into the songs. This has opened a whole range of possibilities explored on the album Jump. AND RANDOM ELEMENTS By Sniff ‘n’ the Tears The 2017 release. Random Elements is the eighth album from Sniff 'n' The Tears. After an accident in 2012, and several months' recovery, Paul Roberts got into a songwriting spree. This was partly due to keyboardist Robin Langridge, sending inspirational sonic sketches to him. Thus started a collaborative process which led to some rather interesting song structures. In Paul's words: "Some of these new songs reflect the times, in terms of the dilemmas we face in the 21st century. Some are more personal but then, the personal and the political can be connected. " Themes Sniff fans are all too familiar with, "but", he explains, with a shrug of acceptance, "humanity is what it is, and it won't stop any time soon. Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of Interviewing the Legends I’m your host Ray Shasho. Norwegian progressive rock group AVKRVST have announced they will release their album ‘The Approbation’ on 16th June, 2023. The Approbation is a concept album about a bleak soul who is left solely with his thoughts, isolated in a cabin deep into the dark forests, far away from civilization. The 49-minute-long concept album contains 7 songs, which take the listener though the thoughts of a man struggling towards the acceptance of death, being hauled into the abyss. The whole album is written and recorded at a cabin in Alvdal (Norway) during a rainy, cold fall and winter. Throughout the album, the sounds of rain and train horns from afar can be heard, which are actual sounds recorded outside the cabin at night under the stars. Sonically, The Approbation is a massive sounding piece of music. It’s everything from lush, melancholy moods to heavy, more aggressive atmospheres. It tries to capture the feeling of a cold, gloomy fall - a dark sky, filled with gazing stars above the mist. The road from there to the composer/modern fingerstyle guitarist he is today included a bachelor’s and master’s degree in composition, studies in classical piano, guitar, sitar and tabla, years as a performing jazz guitarist, composer and arranger, several film scores and three decades of recording and performing as the instrumental half of the acoustic fusion duo, Glass House which has released three CD’s, two EPs and a host of widely viewed YouTube videos. Mark’s performing experience spans a huge range of genres from free improv to West African drum and dance ensembles, from Motown and funk bands to big band jazz and orchestral conducting. BIO: Legendary recording artist and ground-breaking entertainer Tony Orlando got an early start in show business, reaching national charts at the age of 16 with his recordings of “Halfway to Paradise” and “Bless You.” Orlando became the first vocal artist to sign with Epic Records. The young entertainer continued to set records, eventually becoming one of the youngest vice presidents in the history of CBS Records. After agreeing to record a demo record for a song called “Candida the song became a surprise hit, launching Orlando into the spotlight. Tony Orlando continued producing hit songs, releasing the #1 single “Knock Three Times” in 1971. The single became the top song of 1971, selling over six million copies worldwide. In 1973, Orlando recorded perhaps his most famous song, “Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Ole Oak Tree.” The hit stayed at #1 for a year and soon became an anthem of hope and renewal for American veterans from the Vietnam War to Desert Storm. By 1974, Tony Orlando had developed his very own variety show. Led by Orlando himself along with Telma Hopkins and Joyce Vincent Wilson, the show was the first multi-ethnic variety show on television, running for four seasons. Orlando’s career spans over 60 years. Every once in awhile I like to spotlight up and coming groups with a lot of talent and today I’d like to showcase a new group called ROSENEATH from Richmond Virginia… Taking influence from 90’s alternative classics as well as modern grunge, post-hardcore, and shoegaze bands, Richmond, VA’s Roseneath combines driving riffs with soaring melodies to create something new with a familiar nostalgia. The music is for fans of Quicksand, Nirvana, Balance & Composure, Failure, Modern Color, Narrow Head, and Smashing Pumpkins. The duo is made up of Brian George on guitar/bass, together with Jason Roberts commanding vocals and production (as well as some guitar/bass too). Charles Wright was born in Clarksdale Mississippi, where he grew up and was musically inclined by playing the guitar and singing in several doo-wop groups, including, The Twilighters, The Shield, and The Gallahads. Wright briefly worked as A&R Director for Del-Fi Records and was responsible for the hit recording of "Those Oldies But Goodies (Remind Me of You)" by Little Caesar and the Romans in 1961. By 1964, Wright formed his own band called Charles Wright & the Wright Sounds, which included John Raynford, and Daryl Dragon, the "Captain" of Captain & Tennille. Wright added more members to the group, and they became known as the Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band, and they played in several venues across Los Angeles. In the 1970s the band was best known for their world-renowned hit, "Express Yourself.” It was written by Wright and distributed by Warner Bros. TM, where it would hit #3 and #12 on the R&B and Pop charts, respectively. Another hit record under Wright's reign was Do Your Thing, which set the stage for a 1970s pornographic study of Boogie Nights. To date, Wright's songs have been covered by legendary artists around the globe. During the rise of Hip-Hop in the 1980s, many rap artists sampled chunks of funk from Wright's wax, including N.W.A. and their smash track, "Express Yourself" Brand Nubian Funk, Naughty By Nature, Gang Starr, and Sean "P. Also Up: From Where We've Come An Eventful Journey A BOOK By Charles Wright author "UP" contains historical moments, where the reader will experience inserts of the author's life long before he gained his status as a musical legend. And like his music, Wrights' story is a historical account of events that could only be told in his own personal and unique style. Wright’s book is about a young boy and his family's trials and tribulations on a cotton plantation owned by a cruel sharecropper named Edward Miles, who was born with an unfair advantage, which he uses to dominate his subjects. At the critical age of eight, the boy's father demanded he pick no less than a hundred pounds a day, which according to the author, he has yet to be able to deliver. But any time he failed, he faced yet another one of his father’s vicious whippings. His father was involved with the cruel hearted landowner, who owned four hundred acres of fertile land, which he and his family were obligated to work 40 acres of. This, of course, called for an oversized family, which at that time was a sharecropper's dream. The beatings continued practically on a daily basis and continued even after the family relocated to California due to the fact that his father had developed a habit of taking his personal frustrations out on the boy. During the late forties and early fifties, his parents decided to opt out of the cotton business for good, but soon realized Mr. Miles was not so willing to let go. They plotted a scheme and leaving the plantation, they moved into Clarksdale, but only to realize how relentless the old sharecropper actually was. So in an effort to subdue the family, Mr. Miles used his influence among other white southerners to deny the boy's father employment. Their saga continued due to one incident after another until finally, the child's mother sought help from her oldest daughter, who'd already moved out of state. The rest is history. His story takes too many twists and turns to explain in a brief synopsis, yet in the end it has a surprisingly pleasant way of resolving itself.

With distortion cranked, synths warm, and no regard for the rules, Fastest Land Animal tap into the eternal power of three equally committed (and possibly crazed) kindred spirits. In this case, the trio— Screamin’ Jack Novak aka John Cusimano, Alfonse Castillo [guitar, bass] aka Jonny Blaze and Shark Samuels [drums] aka Andrew Meskin crash land (at full speed) into the intersection of glorious gutter punk, revved-up rock ‘n’ roll, and off-kilter pop. Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of Interviewing the Legends I’m your host Ray Shasho Glass Hammer is an American progressive rock band from Chattanooga, Tennessee. They formed in 1992 when multi-instrumentalists Steve Babb and Fred Schendel began to write and record “Journey of the Dunadan”, a concept album based on the story of Aragorn from The Lord of the Rings. Glass Hammer is Progressive rock at its finest! First came Dreaming City (2021), followed by Skallagrim – Into the Breach (2022). Now Glass Hammer returns to the cursed realm of Andorath with Part III of their Skallagrim trilogy, AT THE GATE their most recent release. The album’s narrative concludes the sword and sorcery-inspired tale of the thief with the screaming sword, a “desperate man” who lost his lover and his memory. Lead vocalist, Hannah Pryor, joins Steve Babb, Fred Schendel, and Aaron Raulston. Singer John Beagley and former Glass Hammer vocalist Jon Davison (now of YES) make guest appearances. The new versions of East Coast Racer, Brooklands and Voyager prominently feature an elite 17-piece string section recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London. Apart from the late David Longdon's lead vocals, which have been compiled from the original album sessions, East Coast Racer is a completely new studio version recorded by the line-up of the band as it was in 2019. Brooklands features newly recorded drums, bass and bass pedals, while Voyager includes additional guitar and violin. All three songs have been re-mixed for this release. BRUCE KULICK 'THE LOST INTERVIEWS' with RAY SHASHO EPISODE 17 INTERVIEWED JUNE 22ND 2015 Got to Get Back is the latest release by KKB, a 1974 power trio that featured lead guitarist Bruce Kulick, singer/bassist Mike Katz, and drummer Guy Bois. It’s a hard driving/progressive rock sound reminiscent to the styles of Cream, YES, and King Crimson. The band may have even become legendary if it hadn’t been for their lack of professional guidance. The title track …“Got to Get Back” is a brand new song. Kulick says … “I thought the way we could celebrate it the best after 40 years was actually to record a new song with the same guys, I gave Mike a riff that I thought was similar to the kind of progressive /metal trio style we did back in 1974 and he ran with it and turned into a terrific song.” Got to Get Back by KKB is a timeless gem performed by three first-rate musicians. (5) Stars! BRUCE KULICK was a veteran guitarist for “The Hottest Band In The World” … KISS! It was during the unmasking period for the legendary rockers who officially appeared in public without makeup in an appearance on MTV in 1983. Kulick would join KISS as their fourth lead guitarist in less than three years and holds title to the longest continuous tenure of anyone other than Simmons and Stanley (September 1984 to August 1996). Although Kulick never wore the band's iconic makeup, he says …“It keeps my era a little bit more unique and sacred in a sense and I’m there to waive the flag for it.” Bruce Kulick played on (5) KISS studio albums … Asylum, Crazy Nights, Hot in the Shade, Revenge, Carnival of Souls: The Final Sessions. Kulick also appeared on Alive III and KISS Unplugged. The song "I Walk Alone" from Carnival of Souls: The Final Sessions is the only KISS track to feature Kulick as lead vocalist. To date, Kulick is featured on more than (20) KISS releases. The ‘Farewell Tour’ featured original KISS members Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss. Frehley left the group after the tour but Kulick was not asked to return as their lead guitarist; instead Tommy Thayer became the new spaceman for KISS. Kulick did however continue to work with the band by contributing on several albums. In 1997, Kulick formed ‘Union’ with lead vocalist/guitarist John Corabi (Mötley Crüe, Ratt), drummer Brent Fitz (Slash, Vince Neil), and bassist James Hunting (David Lee Roth, Eddie Money). ‘Union’ released (2) studio albums, two singles: "Old Man Wise" and "October Morning Wind," and a live album. Since 2001, Bruce Kulick has been the lead guitarist for Grand Funk Railroad. The original band was a power trio that featured current band members Don Brewer and Mel Schacher. Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of Interviewing the Legends I’m your host Ray Shasho. Corky Laing is best known as the drummer of the legendary bands Mountain and West, Bruce & Laing and over the years, he has played, recorded and written with the who’s-who of rock. Apart from a six-year period in the 90s, when he worked as VP of A&R at Polygram Canada, he has been performing and making music constantly since 1965. He has received multiple gold records, several Juno Awards and was given the Bonzo Bash Legend Award in 2014. Corky's album, the Toledo Session was released on CD in late 2019 and re-released on vinyl in 2020. The album contains nine new original tracks and the excitement brought on by the new repertoire is reminiscent of the classic Mountain albums, Climbing! and Nantucket Sleighride. Since 2015 Corky has been touring the world celebrating the musical legacy of Mountain. Corky’s latest release is entitled FINNISH SESSIONS recorded at E-studio in Finland in April. The album features Michael Monroe (harmonica) and Ian Hunter (keyboards) as special guests. Tuija Takala, PhD is a widely published academic author with over 70 international articles, and 16 books and edited collections to her name published by, among others, Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, Springer and Routledge. In a distinguished career as a singer, songwriter and producer, William Bell has come to define the essence of “soul.” Born in Memphis but based in Atlanta since 1970, William Bell was one of the pioneers of the classic Stax/Volt sound, joining such other illustrious musical forces at that label as Otis Redding, Sam and Dave, Isaac Hayes, Booker T. & the MG’s, Albert King, Eddie Floyd, Carla and Rufus Thomas, The Staple Singers and the Bar-Kays, among others. After a two-year stint in the Armed Forces, William released his first full-length album in 1967, the classic The Soul of a Bell, which included the Top 20 hit single, “Everybody Loves a Winner.” That same year, blues great Albert King recorded what came to be his signature tune, “Born Under a Bad Sign,” also written by Bell, which has since become one of the most-recorded blues songs of all-time. Among his other classic hits at Stax were “Any Other Way,” “Never Like This Before,” “A Tribute to a King” (William’s personal tribute to Stax legend Otis Redding), “I Forgot to be Your Lover,” his internationally acclaimed duet with Judy Clay, “Private Number,” and the perennial Christmas music favorite, “Every Day Will Be Like a Holiday.” As a songwriter, William Bell’s compositions have also been recorded by such diverse stars as Otis Redding, Eric Clapton, Billy Idol, Lou Rawls and Rod Stewart, among many others. In February 2017 William received a Grammy for his latest CD on STAX/Concord Records “This Is Where I Live” for Americana Album of the Year and performed on the live TV presentation with Gary Clark, Jr.! Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of Interviewing the Legends I’m your host Ray Shasho Galahad was formed in 1985 just for fun playing roughly half covers (Genesis, Zeppelin, Rush, Sabbath, Focus, Marillion etc.) and half original material. Galahad then supported a few well known 'Progressive' bands that were coming up at the time. Then, after mixing it with the slightly 'bigger boys' Galahad decided to take it more seriously and began playing only original material resulting in the release of their first proper album in 1991, 'Nothing Is Written', which was purely self -financed and released independently but which went on to sell several thousand copies. The success of 'Nothing Is Written' was also helped by the fact that the band received substantial air play on BBC Radio One, especially on the Radio One Rock Show hosted by the late, great Tommy Vance. The band then landed themselves with deals in the UK, Japan, and Germany. 2021 saw the release of the re-mixed 1998 album 'Following Ghosts' on a limited double vinyl which is available in standard black, gold and a very limited red and orange splatter version. 'Galahad Electric Company' featuring Dean and Stu also released a second lock down album 'Soul Therapy' on CD. Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of Interviewing the Legends I’m your host Ray Shasho Jonas Lindberg & The Other Side is a Progressive rock project from Stockholm, Sweden founded in 2012 by bass player, songwriter, and producer Jonas Lindberg. It all started back in 2008 when the EP "IN SECRET PACE" was recorded by Jonas as an exam-project at the college of Music in Sweden. The first recordings featured a large lineup of musicians and was originally intended to work as a demo for an upcoming band. But as term ended Jonas moved to Stockholm to pursue a career as a freelance musician and the idea got put on hold. In 2012 "IN SECRET PACE" was finally released on digital platforms as Jonas started to work on new material. This time the lineup featured a 5-piece band and the second EP "THE OTHER SIDE" was finished and released in 2013. The project was named "JONAS LINDBERG & THE OTHER SIDE" from the title track of the album after its release. Following the enthusiastic reception of the 2016 album "PATHFINDER", Jonas began working on another full-length album in 2019. The album - called "MILES FROM NOWHERE" - is more of a solo effort than the previous album with Jonas playing most of the instruments himself, and features a few more guest musicians. Returning on a few tracks is Simon WILHELMSSON (drums) as well as Jonas's brother Joel on lead guitar. The 2022 release consists of seven songs which spans the full range of the progressive rock landscape - from the soaring “Summer Queen” (led by Jenny Storm) to the folksy instrumental "Astral Journey" to the closing title track; a sprawling 25-minute epic which features none other than Roine Stolt (The Flower Kings, Transatlantic) on lead guitar. Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of Interviewing the Legends I’m your host Ray Shasho Ben Craven is a cinematic progressive-rock artist from Brisbane, Australia. He likes to make records. His 2016 album, Last Chance To Hear, was a stunning triumphant musical masterpiece of progressive rock. The grandness of the album suggested it was performed by a five or six-piece band. Craven explained, “In keeping with the idea of the album as an endangered species, the new album’s title is Last Chance To Hear. It’s another solo album in the true sense of the word where I play just about everything, like on Potions. The difference this time is a much greater portion has turned out to be instrumental. Not that I dislike vocals, but sometimes the music can be strong and emotional and moving enough to stand on its own without them.” There was also a special appearance on the album by legendary Star Trek actor William Shatner, providing spoken-word vocals for the track Spy In The Sky Part 3! Craven’s most recent release, Monsters From The Id is the logical realization of Craven’s musical trajectory thus far. It’s an album of two halves, each containing a traditional progressive rock “epic” the length of a side of vinyl. The two pieces comprise flowing parts and movements with both rock and Hans Zimmer-esque orchestral arrangements, punctuated by Ben’s distinctive lead guitar and vocals. PATRICK SIMMONS 'THE LOST INTERVIEWS' with RAY SHASHO Episode 16 Interviewed Tuesday, November 15, 2011 I had the opportunity to interview Doobie Brothers legendary guitarist and songwriter Patrick Simmons a few days before the 2011 Orlando Calling festival. Pat Simmons was introduced to future Doobie Brothers bandmates Tom Johnston and John Hartman by Moby Grape’s Skip Spence in 1969 forming the foundation to what would eventually be one of the most esteemed classic rock bands in history. Pat is usually identified as the Doobie Brother with the longest hair. His heartfelt vocal styles are significant to the band’s success. He’s an important musician with eclectic musical styles and tastes. Blues Image is an American Blues Rock band formed in Tampa, Florida in 1966 by singer-guitarist Mike Pinera. The band moved to Miami in 1968, where they were instrumental in helping promoters form the most innovative music venue in South Florida, Thee Image. Blues Image became the house band at the club, which featured bands like Cream, The Grateful Dead, and Blood, Sweat & Tears. The band moved to Los Angeles and signed with Atco Records, releasing their self-titled debut album in February 1969. Their second album, Open (April 1970), included the single “Ride Captain Ride”, written by Pinera and Skip Konte. Pinera left the band to join Iron Butterfly in the fall of 1969. The song “Ride Captain Ride” has been used in many films over the years. Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of Interviewing the Legends I’m your host Ray Shasho Andy Glass founded the UK Prog group Solstice in 1980 with violinist Marc Elton and the following 4 years would see them make the Marquee Club their home and take the band to the main stage at Reading Rock Festival, Glastonbury and many others. Following the split in 1985, a change of tack led to touring as guitarist for American soul legends Bill Withers and Geno Washington alongside his work as studio engineer and session musician. After recording Ian Anderson in the studio, Andy was invited to take the job of 'front of house' sound engineer with Jethro Tull leading to five American tours and long outings through Europe and the UK. Nothing would prove as satisfying as playing with Solstice though and so, inevitably, Andy reformed the band in its current line up in 2007. The follow-up to 2020's acclaimed Sia is the band's seventh album, and the second to feature vocalist Jess Holland, who was placed fourth in the Best Female Vocalist category of Prog Magazine's 2022 Readers' Poll (guitarist Andy Glass also ranked 5th in the Guitarist category while the band ranked 8th in Best Band). Big Big Train's Greg Spawton was moved to comment: "Nothing prepared me for the extraordinary new line-up that they have settled on in the last few years. Solstice are back and are back to being brilliant. Their forthcoming album, Light Up, is utterly sensational: beautiful production, great songs, great voices, tricky rhythms and epic guitar solos." The band have lined up some live dates to support the new album, including appearances at Cropredy Festival, London's 229 venue on April 28 and a co-headline performance with fellow 80s neo-prog veterans Trilogy, the first time the two bands have performed with each other since they toured together back in 1983! Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of Interviewing the Legends I’m your host Ray Shasho The daughter of Ken Lane, who wrote songs for Dean Martin, and a mother who was a fashion model, Robin grew up in Los Angeles. She was part of the music community in the late 1960s. In Laurel Canyon she collaborated with members of Crazy Horse and sang with Neil Young on "Round and Round (It Won't Be Long)" on his album Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere. After a two-year marriage with future Police guitarist Andy Summers, in the late 1970s Robin left LA behind, and moved to Boston. She formed Robin Lane and the Chartbusters, integrating punk and new wave with West Coast folk, and East Coast rock. Their three albums for Warner Bros. were Robin Lane and the Chartbusters (1980), the live EP 5 Live, and Imitation Life (1981). The rock radio-charting song “When Things Go Wrong” became the 11th music video played on MTV on its first broadcast day in 1981. Robin’s latest release is Dirt Road to Heaven a collection of Americana music that sounds great alongside artists such as Brandi Carlile and Joan Baez. Robin’s motto of “Music is my healing tool” has paved her uniquely uplifting “dirt road to heaven” process from the get-go. Her journey has become even more effective and powerful, locally and globally, this century. Lauderdale and Orlando before heading to Nashville, Cincinnati, Detroit. This new leg will end with multiple performances in Chicago on February 20 & 21. This perpetual ongoing world tour is a testament to Mason’s six-decade enduring role as a Rock Icon as well as the unrelenting support of his music loving fans the world over. A self-described endangered species, Mason enjoyed a successful cross country run this Fall and is thrilled to get back out on the road to see his friends and fans - “There is nothing quite like performing live. At the age of 16, Brian Hyland had the #1 record in the country, “Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini”, for which he received a Gold Record. Hyland’s other major hit “Sealed with a Kiss” reached No. 3 in 1962. He cut a string of chart records, with the writing/production team of Gary Geld and Peter Udell; “The Joker went Wild” and” “Run, Run, Look and See”, which were in the top 20 on the charts. Brian cut his 3rd Gold Record with Curtis Mayfield’s, “Gypsy Woman”, produced by Del Shannon. Gypsy Woman sold over 3 million copies internationally. Brian successfully recorded everything from Novelty to Pop Ballads; to Folk Rock to Country Rock; to Pop Rock to Pop Soul, over more than a decade. PURE REASON REVOLUTION is a British Rock group formed at Westminster University in 2003. Trying to fit PRR into a specific genre would be a difficult task, which is one of their attractive qualities. The group is set to release their sixth studio album Coming Up To Consciousness via InsideOutMusic. Their new to-be-released album will be out on September 6th. The album feature’s themes of betrayal, deception, fear, grief, mortality, and questions of sanity. Legendary musician Guy Pratt, known for working with the likes of Pink Floyd played the bass guitar on seven of the eight tracks on Pure Reason Revolution’s new album. The band tells fans to expect more ambitious bass lines in Coming Up To Consciousness than they’ve heard in any previous Pure Reason Revolution albums. The band was equally thrilled to work with multiple members of prog icon The Pineapple Thief; the record was mixed by Bruce Soord and mastered by Steve Kitch. Jon Courtney comments: “Spawned from the bereavement after my dog was put down, a numb & dry creative spell ensued, but after a meeting with my writer friend Craig Walker (Archive/Power of Dreams) & sharing how the last months had been, he urged me to get this experience down in lyrics & music. Suddenly the album flew out of me/us! In terms of the recording process, this album was probably the most enjoyable to make, with the various collaborations firing creativity.
