Chris Braun's fondness for telling an engaging story started when he was a substitute usher on Broadway in the early 80's. After graduating from NYU with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, he worked odd jobs until joining the Navy in 1986. Traveling throughout South East Asia tracking submarines for 4 years Braun began his 1/4 century Bay Area Advertising career. During his advertising years he wrote a screenplay he targeted for Alec Baldwin, an NYU acquaintance. He spent 15 years pursuing Baldwin with the only result being him writing an online memoir "Brotherhood of the Rejected Screenplay." Named by Variety (alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Mindy Kaling, Ryan Coogler, Beau Willimon, and Olivia Wilde) as one of “Hollywoodʼs New Leaders,” Carlberg is an Academy Award and Emmy Award winning film, television, new media, Broadway and Los Angeles stage producer. Andrew’s extensive credits include, but aren’t limited to, ABC’s Castle, DirecTV’s Full Circle, Broadway’s Romeo and Juliet and Side Show, Celebration Theatre's Ovation Award winning productions of The Boy from Oz, The Color Purple: The Musical, and Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, the worldwide hit improv-based show The Blind Date Project, the Neil LaBute penned feature films Some Girl(s) and Dirty Weekend, actress Jennifer Morrison’s feature directorial debut Sun Dogs (Netflix 2018), and the 2018 and 2021 Official Sundance Selection The Blazing World (short and feature).  

Notably, Carlberg was the producer of Skin, which won the 2019 Academy Award for Live Action Short Film.

Additional feature credits include the romantic comedy Sister of the Groom (starring Alicia Silverstone and Tom Everett Scott, and released by Saban Films in December 2020) and the HBOMax drama The Fallout, which premiered at the 2021 SXSW Film Festival, and won the Grand Jury and Audience Award.  Select additional short films include Anna (which premiered in competition at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival), Feeling Through (which was nominated at the 93rd Academy Awards), Lalito 10 (which won a 2023 Emmy Award) and North Star (starring Colman Domingo, Laura Innes and Kevin Bacon; 27 festival wins).  Other recent feature films include Peace in the Valley (2022 Tribeca Film Festival premiere) and Mutt (2023 Sundance Film Festival and 2023 Berlinale International Film Festival).

Carlberg has sold projects to HBO, Netflix, CBS, DirecTV and more - and has an ambitious slate of film, television and theater projects in development.  Andrew is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with Shakespeare studies at Oxford University, a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Producers Guild of America, an alum of Film Independent’s Fast Track Producing Fellowship and New York’s Independent Filmmaker Project, and an event producer for the I Have a Dream Foundation - Los Angeles and the National Breast Cancer Coalition.

Tyler grew up outside Tampa, Florida, and at 21, he moved to New York to train as an actor under the renowned William Esper. After graduating, Tyler headed to Los Angeles, where he began landing roles in low-budget features. His breakthrough came with the indie Boomtown, where he not only starred alongside Rachel Brosnahan but also produced the film. Tyler's directorial debut, God's Waiting Room, premiered at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival, earning a Best Actor award for lead Matthew Leone. His second feature, Peace In The Valley, also made its debut at Tribeca in 2022. Tyler’s latest project, Blue Boy, is a feature in development about an insecure bodybuilder, adapted from a short film that premiered at Clermont-Ferrand in 2023 and went on a strong, award-winning festival run.

TANGK is the righteous and vibrant fifth album from madcap truth-seekers, IDLES. Pronounced“tank” with a whiff of the “g”-an onomatopoeic reference to the lashing way the band imagined their guitars sounding that has since grown into a sigil for living in love-the record is the band’s most ambitious and striking work yet. Where IDLES were once set on taking the world’s piss, squaring off with strong jaws against the perennially entitled, and exercising personal trauma in real time, they have arrived in this new act to offer the fruits of such perseverance: love, joy, and indeed gratitude for the mere opportunity of existence.

A radical sense of defiant empowerment radiates from TANGK, co-produced by Nigel Godrich, IDLES guitarist Mark Bowen, and Kenny Beats. Despite his reputation as an incendiary post-punk spark plug, frontman Joe Talbot sings almost all the feelings inside these 10 songs with hard-earned soul, offering each lusty vow or solidarity plea as a bona fide pop song—that is, a thing for everyone to pass around and share, communal anthems intended for overcoming our grievance. Lead single “Dancer” stands as the throbbing and scuzzy highlight at the album’s center-rattling bass and ricocheting guitar giving Talbot space to talk about sweat and sex on the dance floor. (You will spy LCD Sound system’s James Murphy and Nancy Whang here, too, singing.) It is lascivious and playful and positive, the ecstatic sound of at least a temporary fix. In the improvised hook, Talbot offers IDLES’ essential new mantra: “I give myself to you/As long as you move on the floor.”

He is singing about the rapture of a new relationship, but he is also singing about the special dynamic between IDLES and their fans, or IDLES and the world at large. This is a band’s vow to keep lifting and fighting for themselves and their listeners, to keep offering the grim persistence of joy and hope and love and wonder as long as that’s what anyone needs to survive. It is a love song the same way that TANGK is a love album—open to anyone who requires something to shout out loud in order to fend off any encroaching sense of the void, now or forever.

Glüme was born and raised in Los Angeles underneath the Hollywood sign. As a child actor, dancer, and singer, she got her start early on Broadway at the age of 6 as Shirley Temple. She grew up leading a life fit for a film; full of magic and tragedy. After being diagnosed with Prinzmetal Angina and Lupus, she began recording music at home until she was able to perform again. As a an artist, she is happy to be here telling her stories. She has released sophomore album featuring collaborations with Rufus Wainwright, Sean Ono Lennon, STRFKR, and Of Montreal. She will be filming three movie musicals this summer of 2024 with her production company Utopia Pictures. She intends to bring back the Great American Musical.

She will be performing songs, dances and scenes from her favorite films this Saturday April 27 at theEastwood Performing Arts Center in Hollywood.
