| Evan Spergel on Being Gay in the Entertainment Industry | 02 Nov 2020 | 00:54:30 | |
On this episode I speak with actor and writer Evan Spergel about navigating the entertainment industry as a gay man.
Evan has known he was gay since he was four. He has also known his strong pull toward the arts, especially in performance and writing. However, the entertainment industry has posed some obstacles in trying to market Evan’s image as sexually ambiguous, if not straight. These issues have inspired Evan’s writing and ambition to produce his own projects that he tackles with sexual energy. He recommends using sexuality in healthy ways like approaching your passion projects with the same sexual energy as you would a potential conquest. | Mimi (Miss Storm) is a Purrrfect Kitty (Rebroadcast) | 03 Aug 2020 | 00:46:49 | |

I am also offering my platform (podcast) to BIPOC folx interested in amplifying their voice—interviews, prerecorded audio, podcast episodes—I’m happy to rebroadcast on your terms.
From the original episode description: On this episode I speak with Mimi, otherwise known after dark as Miss Storm, about the her involvement in the BDSM, kink, fetish, and burlesque communities.
Mimi talks about her complex intersections with sexual identity, BDSM, and her muggle life that certainly doesn’t permit her alter ego Miss Storm to surface. Her compartmentalized life is at times difficult to navigate but we get a small glimpse into her worlds that would possibly combine to form something like a submissive homoflexible dancing sex kitten. In the midst of it we talk about whether BDSM and sex can be cleanly separated, some fun stories, and a dark past.

| Malcom Lovejoy is Not Your Mother's Pornstar | 26 Jul 2020 | 00:58:08 | |
On this episode I speak with pornstar extraordinaire Malcom Lovejoy about the intersections of race, gender, and sexuality in porn and the sex positive communities.
Malcom started doing sex work after a career in journalism and hip-hop, but he credits making porn as the best decision of his life. He discusses his experiences as a queer Black man making fem-oriented porn and how race and Black masculinity operate in the sex work industry. We have a long and intimate discussion about race play and racism in general in the sex positive communities toward a more intersection approach in sex positivity. Finally, Malcom ends off with a very sweet and sexy story that captures much of the magic of who he is as a human.

| Isla & Ruby: Sex-Work is a Martiarchy (Rebraodcast) | 06 Jul 2020 | 01:00:37 | |
This is a remastered rebroadcast of an episode I published in June 2019 with Isla & Ruby, discussing sex work at the intersections of race, disability, and asexuality. I’m bringing this conversation back to the front because it needs to be heard again. I am also offering my platform (podcast) to BIPOC folx interested in amplifying their voice—interviews, prerecorded audio, podcast episodes—I’m happy to rebroadcast on your terms.
From the original episode description: Isla is young, away from home, and about to get married, when she realizes there must be more to life than this. She’s already been making some money doing online sex-work, when, enter Ruby, she’s introduced to the possibilities available through full-service sex-work. Ruby had been working through an agency and showed Isla the ropes, a sort of mentorship. Eventually, Ruby went off to do independent sex-work and Isla has remained with the agency for the community and experience. They’re both good friends and here to share their individual takes on sex-work. Isla talks about what it’s like being an asexual Black woman and a sex-worker, and Ruby discusses her invisible physical disabilities and how they intersect with her sex-work. Together, they have found ways to help one another and advocate for healthy and informed ways to enter the matriarchy of sex-work.

| Curt Montgomery Tattoos the Toronto Sex Scene | 06 Apr 2020 | 00:48:32 | |
On this episode I speak with Insta famous tattoo artist Curt Montgomery about his journey into the sex positive communities, as we isolate and continue to fight COVID-19.
Curt Montgomery has been creating fine art for a long time. After partying away his 20s, then going sober for 18 years, he got into the tattoo scene and eventually realized there was a niche for highly sexual monochromatic tattoos. More recently, Curt’s tattoos have come to life as he’s embarked on a journey through the sex positive communities, experiencing for the first time in all their glory the erotic and perverse sex scenes that his tattoos depict. Now as he sits in quarantine and occupies himself with his art, his drawings and acrylics are inspired not by imagination but by memory.
