The onslaught of Cyberpunk 2077 drama continues to pour in and Sony removing the game from the PlayStation Store is something that will go down in a blaze of video game history infamy. Some versions of the game are running just fine but there’s been a massive amount of threads and personal anecdotes about Cyberpunk underperforming and crashing on the PS4 and PS5. It’s not a great look for Sony or their newest piece of kit in the PS5 and their track record for customer support and returns hasn’t been great in the past so it’s safe to say CDPR might have earned a little bit of eyre for their latest antics. Our hearts go out to the developers caught up in this, working rigorously trying to make things right when they were probably already crunched to get things done in the first place. There’s been a long history of Twitch and it’s off & on approach to their terms of service as well as the enforcement of it so people haven’t missed the opportunity to take the company over its selection of these words specifically.  To make matters worse people are still upset about the massive removal of Twitch vods due to a sudden update in regards to Twitch’s approach to licensed music. Thousands of videos were issued DMCA claims and promptly removed. This might have been a good opportunity to address those issues as well. The uproar from the games community and the issues present have lead to some reviewers reducing the games review score and aggregate sites are even posting warnings about the disparity between the different versions of Cyberpunk 2077.
