This is Inside Bill's Mind ... Bill Chase is a 37 year old man from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.  He's what some call a "Pop Culture Junkie", lover of film, music, TV.  He's also a sports nut, and loves the world of professional wrestling.  He's also big on history, politics, current events, whatever is on his mind, he'll talk about it.

In this episode inspired by numerous YouTube videos from Sportsnet's Steve Dangle, Bill decided to do another trade-tree episode, this time chronicling 4 huge trades that took place for the 1990-91 season!  This includes the infamous Ron Francis/John Cullen trade ... and after researching the tree, this lead to pretty much every bit of Pittsburgh's success they've had in the last near 30 years!

In this episode inspired by numerous YouTube videos from Sportsnet's Steve Dangle, Bill decided to do another trade-tree episode, this time involving the five trade trees of Hall of Fame defensemen Larry Murphy.  Now Murphy is the principle subject of these trades, but hall of famers such as Mike Gartner & Dino Ciccarelli also become part of a scenario, and how while Murphy wasn't an easy player to sacrifice not everyone lost by trading him, but others lost significantly.

Ep.3 Toronto Maple Leafs Trade Trees 04 janv. 202101:04:07

In this episode inspired by numerous YouTube videos from Sportsnet's Steve Dangle, Bill decided to have a little fun and research some trade trees of his own.  On this edition, he looks at three trade trees involving three of the most popular Leaf players in the late 70's.  Lanny McDonald, Tiger Williams & Darryl Sittler.  These three were the toast of the town in Toronto, but two of these trades worked out not so good for the Leafs in the long term, and one actually worked out very well, can you guess?  As a matter of fact, one of these trees lead to a significant part of the New Jersey Devils' Stanley Cup success.  Also, a BONUS trade as part of this episode that was one of the worst in not only Leafs history, but NHL history to boot.
